I'm heading for training tomorrow, then match sat. So damn anxious now. I posted a few days ago with my cz457 in a mdt oryx. Well, just wanted to share my customizing job.

But also, quick question. I assume I should have a mag holster? Or does anyone wear a battle belt?

Testing bag rider and grip. Petg prints. Printed throw lever for scope and working on a dope holder but that scope clip is coming off. I don't like location. Just wanted to see if it fit. I do have orange mlok parts for the front of the chassis printed, just need slightly longer screws to attach it.

nervous but thinking of trying this out in oct. Going to try to watch an event this weekend, but I've never even shot off of anything but a bench and only started shooting again this year after a long time. Nevermind that rear monopod. Just trying out a print. Cz457 amer synth, arken ep5g2, in a MDT chassis, which I plan to paint. Though I like my greens, fdes, blacks etc, kinda want this to be different, colorful. Still trying to find ammo it likes. Only had eley, have wolf coming. Can't find sk, Norma etc. didn't do bad with federal and cci wasnt great

I've wanted the Barra250 and couldn't pass it up when I saw Midway had a " blemished" for what I thought was cheap. Jumped on it. Only the box was beat up. Rifle perfect. Have a cheap cvlife scope for now but going to get something better. Even at 25yrds, it seems blurry to me. Printed a moderator, and at first it did affect accuracy but tonight, they were dead on. Picked up a vevor compressor which will have to do for now.

Hi all! Newbie shooter here. In October, there's a prs 22 match that I'm debating on trying. I only started shooting again this year, March, maybe April. Im really enjoying the hobby, started with Ruger American 556, built an ar butttt, just picked up a cz457. I'm nervous as hell about signing up. I have basic level understanding and no real training and never shot off of anything besides a bench. Would it be a waste to sign up? I shoot at local sportsman clubs so I only have access up to 185 yrds. (Ny) I know the match has 225yrd per impact sports. It's 4.5hrs away, so not like I can even see the place or practice.

Pictures- cz457 ( American synthetic) stock besides chassis, and my Ruger. Going back out tomorrow to zero at 100. Haven't had it a week yet.

Bonus points, any recommendations on bipods beyond MDT, which I know is the most popular and then Atlas,. It always comes down to like 2-3 main ones. I just found fab defense?

Managed to complete my first build today. Ran into one issue with a stripped set screw on gas block. I built lower, bought a complete upper, but had to disassemble anyways to install my handguard. Happy to finish it and to have put it together for the most part. Now to test it this weekend. Already looking forward to the next, not my wallet though.

Posted the other day about a stripped set screw in gas block. Wellllll, a little heat and actually a 2.5 bit instead of t15( which would have been next), got it out and everything assembled. Waiting on optic but, my first ar and build, is ( mostly) complete. I only have experience with a bolt action so looking forward to this weekend. Oh, I have to put my backup sights on. Need a better staging area for pictures. Lol. Terra is not as bright as it looks.

Oh boy... Get home from work, set up to shoot sone targets. 5th shot, weird twang type sound. Pellet didn't go anywhere. Thought it was stuck in the barrel so I went and got my cleaning rod and it just popped right out. Then I noticed that the under lever will not fold up to be parallel with the barrel anymore. It's almost there and if I tried to do it it doesn't want to stay clipped near the barrel. I did try one more and it was the same thing. My return window ended on the 17th so either I'll contact Air Venturi I assume or I can try to repair whatever is broken cuz other than it I only have a pump m4. Any ideas or guides for under lever repair?

Pg 4 on top, is only notary place... Do I or dont I have it signed with a notary before I schedule for fingerprints. I think I'm over thinking this app since I really do not want any stupid mistakes. I only need to get fingerprinted and get a headshot which I assume I can do at home and print, just has to be passport like. I could call, but want to ask here incase any others need this info as well. Not like their instructions are completely clear for us

Odin ambi safety. It's weird to me it doesn't align with words with how I installed but it's easy to flip safe/semi.

Tried to get PSA upper today and they won't ship, online error message. Might call or just build upper with Bcm or get from kak when in stock. ( Stock should update soon)

Another practice session wrapped up today. Trying Hornady black 75gr, x-tac 55 and everyone's favorite, Winchester white 55gr bc it was on sale and I need practice.. well, I think my rifle likes it. still a novice, started shooting again this year, might be my 6th range trip. 100yrd I need to tighten up. Black was lower left. Shot high until I brought it down. Always shot 55gr before. Shooting off of bags, front rear.

Still having ejection issues so going to bring it to a Smith. They said they can warranty it if needed and I've read Ruger is good on making things right. It extracts, but then doesn't eject. I've oiled and cleaned the bolt/ejector. Don't see anything wrong.

Took a trip to a lgs and a few hours at the range with my Ruger ranch, left with my first lower. They have a few griffins. I've seen them come and go, stock wise so figured, what the hell, jump into the deep end with AR and build my first. I live in Nanny State where you need a permit, ( which I'm working on, CCW/ SA) I enjoy tinkering and building stuff so... Let's build an ar. Have a trigger tech duty coming, frozen on upper selection. Was hoping for good deals for the 4th... ' merica. And what's more American than AR ( America's rifle), but from the post, nothing seemed that great. I'm also now tl falling down the hole of cerakote upper or painting with aluma hyde. And what color. Tan brown, or maybe some dark green. Or just keep it black. Kak or PSA upper is in the running at the moment.

Pulled the trigger on the Springfield m1a. I love the m1 firearm. First under lever/ Springer. Fun as hell to shoot. .22 cal. Also a first. Shot at like 25 yards. The table wasn't the best for shooting off of, too low, but still happy with how it shot. The low group were my first 3 shots, until I knew how it was shooting . 3d printed rest. Petg. It's a beautiful gun. I'm used to the $60 crosman m4, a 1990s plastic pump, and sure, I now have a g19x and SA hellcat pro pistol... Bc they are addicting.

Picked up the Glock 19 a few months ago because I was thinking that as a 9m, love shooting the thing and practicing with a pistol and this week picked up Springfield armory hellcat pro because now that has kind of jumped to the top of the list for a pistol. I may not be able to handle the real thing until I get a permit, but these two things are so much fun.

As the title states, I've been hunting for a beginner PCP. (read the sticky) Only recently got back into plinking in my backyard after hitting the range with my first rifle, Ruger Am G2 556. Now I find myself adding targets around the wood line and building a target stand, cheap HF sawhorse with magnets to hold everything. Fine with 117. Picked up the co2 M1 2 months ago and a G19x to mess around with (also snagged my 1990 Daisy pump. a little rusty, but still works. Parents still had it). Now I'm so torn between the Notos G2, air Venturi Alpha and a JTS Airstrike Carbine. Trying to stay under 300 as i have another expense coming up(working on my CCW) and I'll need to get a compressor. My search started with, "yeah, I'm def getting the Alpha", and lately I've been bouncing between the 3. Too many good options...not a bad problem to have and I'm not even looking in the 500 or 1k ranges, though its easy to keep expanding... well, for another 50 or 100, I could get this.. BAM, $600 later (pic just to add something. My g19x. Fun to shoot.
