First CCW - p365xl, mp2.0, 43x

I'm going back and forth on these. Individual from here was giving some options in a different post, which I really appreciated but I didn't want to take over that thread.

I have my class in 2ish weeks and I should be able to submit my paperwork thereafter. I was going to submit an amendment at the same time but the problem is legally handling these. Seems I can't fire anything until I have a permit, I don't know anyone with these. I would like to size them up as I have smaller chubbier hands.

I have a Glock 19x replica is which is slightly larger than I'll want right now ( airgun w/blowback).. I'm leaning towards sig, because then if I want the x macro, I've read I can transfer the serialized part into a macro, and what I've seen, they seem to be good to shoot but I do like that MP. And I do want a Glock, especially before this place bans them for no reason.

What does everyone think? Options and opinions wanted. I may just end up waiting for a permit so I can shoot my 2a rights first. This will be prime CCW and range to start. As we know, they multiply... Lol

Choosing my first PCP is more difficult than I expected

As the title states, I've been hunting for a beginner PCP. (read the sticky) Only recently got back into plinking in my backyard after hitting the range with my first rifle, Ruger Am G2 556. Now I find myself adding targets around the wood line and building a target stand, cheap HF sawhorse with magnets to hold everything. Fine with 117. Picked up the co2 M1 2 months ago and a G19x to mess around with (also snagged my 1990 Daisy pump. a little rusty, but still works. Parents still had it). Now I'm so torn between the Notos G2, air Venturi Alpha and a JTS Airstrike Carbine. Trying to stay under 300 as i have another expense coming up(working on my CCW) and I'll need to get a compressor. My search started with, "yeah, I'm def getting the Alpha", and lately I've been bouncing between the 3. Too many good options...not a bad problem to have and I'm not even looking in the 500 or 1k ranges, though its easy to keep expanding... well, for another 50 or 100, I could get this.. BAM, $600 later (pic just to add something. My g19x. Fun to shoot.

Pistol permit-Alb County-pistol purchase

another permit question. I'm soon to take my class and hopefully submit paperwork soon after. Can I or should I, purchase a pistol now or do I have to wait until after. Looking over their instructions and paperwork, it's not clear. There is a section for pistol info, but I don't believe I complete that. Searching and found other counties, but it seems everywhere is different. Oh and if before, most shops okay with holding it for a lifetime? Thanks.

Athlon Argos btr gen 3 6x24 on a ruger american ranch gen 2 556. I finally was able to get out to the range for the first time, local club just joined, and first time I've shot in like 20 years. Had a blast BUT, I was not as bore sighted as i thought. After many rounds, I figured out how much Im off. I was def guilty of messing around to much and not just doing 3 rd grouping and slowing down, even though i watched plenty of vids on doing this, that kind of slipped my my while still just enjoying the day.

Anyways, on the target, my reticle is where the red dot is, POI is white dot. I can not bring the POI down anymore. CCW is "up". My scope has zero stops, but from the look of it, I may have room to play from 1-0 on the turret. Should I mess with that zero stop (its as it is from factory) or do something else. As you can see, once i figured out how off, aim at bottom of circle, I could then grp on the center of each target.

I'm going back out this weekend and looking forward to it.

Somewhat new to making rounds to the local shops. I'm looking to purchase my second shotgun, but really first purchase of my own. Love the mossberg 590 retro but after handling some other models and the Beretta SA's, I'm at a lost. Lol.

Anyways, question.

Would it be terrible to take notes on what stores have what and their prices. Feel like I'm some atf guy doing that. There are some places that do not have website, or others where local price is different than online. I stopped at one, looked at everything, and now I forget what was what. They were very helpful and we bs'ed for awhile. Was trying to price local before going online FFL transfer. I'd rather try to help my local place, not that they don't get the FFL fee.

What are you're do and don'ts. I'm not afraid of letting anyone know I'm a novice.
