OOOHHHH-hohoho!

This is 1/6 scale so it’s a little oversized but I’m still satisfied with how it looks. Unfortunately there are no zippers, so you can’t put anything inside it but the clips are functional. I also didn’t need to take him apart to put it on, this is awesome. I thought about getting him a hat as well but I ran out of budget.

BACKGROUND: So some months ago, I made a political cartoon about my opinion of Anguirus getting cucked and f*cked out of Minus Zero so Ghidorah can finally have a movie appearance after being neglected for so many years (sarcasm). As you can see, I drew him taking a dump to show how sad he is. Then I turned it into a competition of who can produce the best dump.

So what if I made this a stop motion but instead of it being a contest, it’s sort of more like an acid trip where one Godzilla is fighting for his life on the toilet and some other Godzillas desperately try to bring him the items he needs to live (toilet paper, Febreeze, etc.)? The Godzilla vs Gohan theme would go perfectly with this.

I put LEDs in my Energized Godzilla! I have one more light (out of 4 total) but can’t really put it anywhere else. I guess I’ll just keep it as a spare. It only looks really good in complete darkness though. I was going to spit them up between this and heat ray ‘91 but he has zero space inside. Even if he did, only the dorsal as themselves are translucent. The light wouldn’t shine through at all.

I’d love to have this an alternative to UT and MM since one will probably be too expensive and the other… well we’ll have to see what happens with that, but I haven’t seen any news about this figure at all. I just saw these gorgeous pictures one day and nothing’s happened since. Anyone know what’s going on?

I’m still in disbelief about this, I never thought I’d be able to acquire one of these since they’re so dog jamm expensive! AliExpress came in to save the day with their Summer Sale so I got it for a little less than $100. Here’s the review I left on the app:

As Hiya Toy’s greatest glazer, I must admit that my first SHMA figure in the form of this 1954 Godzilla is AMAZING! I can’t believe I’m saying this but the material really is a higher quality. The sculpt is beautiful and the paint is stunning for how simple it is. Unlike all the reviews I watch, nothing fell apart or broke either! The articulation is also AMAZING, he’s very fun to pose. The eyes are very shiny and look eerily lifelike. It was much smaller than I expected and it feels strange for a Godzilla figure to be so tiny, but I’d be a big fat ret*rd if I said I wasn’t happy with my purchase.

Now I can pretend he’s every other Godzilla’s grandfather. Also size comparison with a Hiya.

So I just got one of my grails (YAY!) and I thought these shoulder pieces were supposed to be swapped with the skin tone ones but now I can’t get it back. No matter what angle I try it doesn’t work. What the fish paste!

The other Godzilla’s could not make it unfortunately. But his grandfather is on the way.

Obviously a joke for those who have a stick up their ass.

I mean, the regular frostbite version comes out just a single quarter before this and it’s safe to say that EB+ Godzilla is cancelled at this point. It’s not only been well over a year since we first saw it, but Hiya hasn’t even briefly MENTIONED it ONE time (to my knowledge). There’s no way it had 2 years worth of issues. This Shimo would’ve made the perfect Christmas present for this year (I don’t mind waiting a month or two), but reality is warning me to cancel my excitement and start looking for other options because there’s no way this is releasing in time. When was the last time a figure came out when it was supposed to and we’re NOT including figures that got pushed up. Those are flukes.

Both your favorite out of the ones you have and in general. I’ll go first. My name is Rob, and I like to party. My favorite Hiya figure that I own is probably to nobody’s surprise, King Ghidorah ‘91. Oh yeah. I like his 2019 design more and just last week, my 2.0 finally arrived. It’s great, but as a figure, ‘91 beats it by miles. It’s like a bear vs a red panda. Articulation is way superior, I didn’t have to wait 5 millennia for it, it’s shiny, and the detail on the heads 100% matches the body. Also I noticed on Ghidorah 2.0, his necks are almost black while the body is a goldfish brown. I like it still, but no transition between that of any kind is odd. As for my favorite that I do not own… I think I’ll have to give it to… DESTROYAH‼️

After an eternity and a half of waiting, my beautiful King Ghidorah 2.0 finally came. YAYY!! However, I noticed that his necks can’t fully curve inward like Hiya boasted about them being able to do. Maybe I’m just not applying enough force but it felt like it was reaching its limit. They might be able to go a little further than in this picture, but Ni is pretty much as far as they go.

I was looking on Popmarket and they claim that the Exquisite Basic + 2021 Godzilla will be available on the 18th of this month. Obviously since Hiya forgot about this figure, that’s a very bold statement. Would I be a naive simpleton to think this has any credibility at all?
