2010’s era members - what is the biggest difference in class style now vs when you first joined? I joined in 2022 and think I’ve seen a big difference over the past 4 years, specifically in coaching quality, but what was it like before?

I was excited to try Terracut (a former SC coach opened a studio and has recruited a lot of NYC SC coaches) to get that OG experience. I did see a lot of teachers I like move, but then I saw one coach I absolutely can’t stand start teaching there. They’re MEAN and their class is extremely chaotic. I almost cancelled my membership because they kept teaching my usual time slots and I started becoming injury prone.

Now I’m wondering: was solidcore actually like this back in the day? Are teachers too soft now?

the weather is awful and would rather stay home, highly discounted two nights at the Holiday Inn resort for Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd.

I’ve been doing solidcore for a long time but i feel like my body is even less capable of handling it/may be wearing down from the moves. Currently i have

1. Outer right knee pain
2. Lumbar/thoracic back pain and popping
3. cervical neck pain, popping, crunching
4. Wrist pain

Due to my schedule I generally have to take 1 advanced50 a week and the coach is very intense (yells at people by name etc,) and usually one other class. I’m wondering if i should still even be doing solidcore or reconsidering something like jetset/SLT

ran to the box office thanks to this reddit and was able to score two tix for $100!! still seems like there’s some left … and a $900 delta between these tickets and the ones i had last night 😭

i have tickets to citi field on saturday (yay!!). I’ve had them for a long time and now my friend wants to join us. The only problem is the only ticket left in my section is about 20 rows up. I haven’t been to a concert at citi field, so i don’t know if it would be okay to just purchase it and try to figure out the situation later. I don’t think it would be a good idea to sell and try to snag 3 together

in nyc area, are we just waiting for a lawsuit to happen? there’s under 1 foot of space between machines and cables in between. i almost face planted during class today. at what point is enough enough (although if it happens i will be seeking a fat paycheck)
