MIL with Alzheimer's

We sold our house and moved in with my MIL (FIL passed away in 2022 and my husband is inheriting her house) because she didn't want to be alone in case something happened. We started noticing memory issues and other things about a year ago. She got diagnosed with Alzheimer's maybe 3 months ago now.

Well, we ended up having to get a new washing machine. We got an amazing deal on a brand new one and it works amazing. But I immediately knew I would have to find some way to put instructions on it so my MIL could work it without needing me. I have a Cricuit maker so I decided I would use removable Vinyl and attach that to it. Then I had the idea (since she is progressively getting more and more unsure of herself and checking instructions 5 times before doing anything) that I would put the instructions for what to do when the lid is up, and what to do when the lid is down to make it easier. So basically a Step 1 and Step 2. She successfully started a load of laundry all by herself yesterday without asking for any help! I got the notification on my phone that the washer was complete and I know the 16 year old didn't start it LOL.

Recommendations

My 16 year old stepdaughter has Autism (Asbergers) and ADHD. She is also trying to do some modeling/acting jobs with the Talent Agency she is with but is having some anxiety. She needs a small, quiet fidget toy for when we are recording at home to submit for auditions. I see a lot of different items on Amazon, but I want to make sure whatever I get for her to allow her to calm down and focus is going to help her. Any recommendations?

??

I had 1 Vine item and then a separate order of 2 items that was paid for that were both supposed to be delivered on Monday. Driver never came by and now we are seeing this and getting the option to "Cancel and receive refund" on both orders. Clearly the Vine item wont be a refund. But I haven't had to deal with this yet. My husband doesn't want me to can cancel both orders.

Should I try to call Amazon or chat with them? Should I cancel this one and if it shows up, then great, if not, oh well and get a refund and reorder the other 2 items? Or should I just wait it out and see if it gets fixed?

Waiting until 11pm to drop?!

This is BS. Ive been watching and waiting all day....while working on sewing...for another drop to happen. But noooo let's drop misc small stuff and then start the "offical drop" per Vinechart at 11pm. Ugh!

Reset time?

Does the timing for getting items reset at midnight each night? Because this current drop is still going up the hill and we are on the EST.

New

I am new to the Vine program. What is the secret to seeing beauty products on Vine? I see a lot of other stuff, but not Beauty products that aren't basically replacement pieces for stuff. I don't have hardly anything in the Beauty section. Any suggestions?

Stuck on review?

These 2 reviews have been stuck in this stage for almost a week. They are my very first reviews. How long does it typically take reviews to process??

DIY Household

I am just asking this out of curiosity. I live in a very DIY household and, after watching my husband and learning from him over the years, I have learned to take parts meant for other uses and using said parts for that other thing instead. If I select something to use it for an alternate purpose, would that cause an issue with the review? I've been getting mixed signals from what I have read and heard through YouTube on this so I figured I would ask here.

Loading Screen?

Does anyone else click on an item to request it and you just get a screen with a loading/buffering screen that never loads so you can't request the item? I've run into this at least 3 times on different items.

New to Vine

I have a question for all you experienced Viners. If you post a review, are you able to edit it later like you are in regular reviews for something you purchased? I have taken pictures/occasional videos of everything that I have gotten so far, I just want to make sure of specifics before I post a review. Like if I forget to mention something, can I go back and edit it to add the information in?
