Hi everyone! I am wondering what could possibly be going on with my mother. She’s been diagnosed with moderate to severe Alzheimer’s since January.

To preface, I am taking her to the doctor later today. Just want other thoughts because I’m spiraling with worry. Friday, Mom started acting more disoriented and confused. She was scared and I believe having hallucinations (she mentioned my dad whose been dead since 2020 and her parents, both dead since 2012 and 2013). I finally got her to calm down and go to bed after taking her Donepezil and Seroquel.

Saturday and Sunday went much the same way however she started getting body tremors and her limbs (mostly her legs) are very jerky and shaky. She can barely walk, I essentially have to hold her up. And she’s just been in bed pretty much all weekend.

She’s only eaten one meal each day since Friday no matter what I try to get her to eat, even just an Ensure or something.

Is this possibly a UTI or something else? TIA.
