New hood ornament loading…

I all think we should hop on this trend that this guy has working for him! I’d go with a neon orange personally!

Are aftermarket car play/android auto head units selling driving data to insurance companies?

So we all know that a lot of modern cars sell driving data to insurance companies. My 2012 Forester is too old to be doing this but I want to install a car play head unit and I could totally see it having enough info such as gps speed and acceleration forces, as well as the info on my phone to trace it back to me. Am I just being paranoid about this? Has anyone had their insurance premiums increase after installing one?

Alternative way to categorize types?

So everyone talks about the types being divided into “thinking, feeling, sensing, and intuitive” but I don’t think that categorization best captures how the different types think. This is because all the ExxJ and IxxP types have both a sensing and intuitive function in the middle function slots, and have either a thinking or a feeling function in the dominant/inferior spot. This would mean that EJs and IPs are really a combination of sensing and intuitive, but are either a feeling type or a thinking type.

Likewise the ExxP and IxxJ types have a feeling and thinking function in the middle two slots but either have a sensing or intuitive function in the dominant/inferior spots. So they are a combination of thinking and feeling types but are either sensing or intuitive.

So basically the types would be: sensing-intuitive thinker, sensing-intuitive feeler, thinking-feeling sensor, and thinking-feeling intuitive.

The categories spelled out would be:

Sensing-intuitive thinkers: ESTJ, ENTJ, ISTP, INTP

Sensing-intuitive feelers: ESFJ, ENFJ, ISFP, INFP

Thinking-feeling sensors: ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTP, ESFP

Thinking-feeling intuitives: INTJ, INFJ, ENTP, ENFP

What do you guys think of this? It seems to make a little more sense to me than just slamming a type into only being a “thinker” and a “sensor” and nothing else. There is probably also a better name for each category lol

Fourier transform and Ni

I learned about Fourier analysis back in college and it stuck with me because it was somehow relatable to how my brain worked. Now when learning about mbti and cognitive functions I think it’s a very similar process to what Ni does when viewing the world. If any of y’all are familiar with it do you feel the same way or am I sipping stupid juice?

Tire with all terrain sidewall protection and durability but regular tread?

Basically I am looking for a tire for a 2012 Subaru forester with the durability of an all terrain but regular street tread to minimize mpg loss, because 99% of my driving is still done on paved roads. The other 1% is unpaved forest roads that have sharp rocks but don’t really require any extra traction from knobbier tread, hence why I only care about durability.

Does a tire like this even exist?
