[Android] Need 12 testers for DoughForge (offline pizza dough calculator) — happy to test yours back

Hi all! I'm a solo dev doing the Google Play closed-testing run (12 testers / 14 days) before production. Would really appreciate your help — and I'll gladly join and test yours in return.

DoughForge is a gram-accurate pizza & bread dough calculator: correct poolish/biga math, a fermentation timeline with reminders, recipe journal. 100% offline, no ads, no subscription. A real app I've been building for months, not a throwaway.

How to join (Android):

  1. Join the tester group (self-serve): androidtesterforme@googlegroups.com
  2. Then open the test link and install from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixelnomad.doughforge or https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.pixelnomad.doughforge
  3. Please stay opted in for the full 14 days 🙏

Drop your app's testing link in the comments and I'll join yours too — genuinely happy to give real feedback, not just install-and-forget. Thanks a ton! 🍕

I just launched my first game as a solo dev — WordForge, a word battle & puzzle game built in Flutter 🎉

Game Title: WordForge: Word Battle & Puzzle
Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixelnomadstudio.wordforge&pli=1
Platform: Android (Google Play)
Description: WordForge is a word game that mixes classic word-building puzzles with real-time word battles. You can play a relaxed Classic mode to unwind, or go head-to-head against opponents in Battle mode. The game features daily challenges, streaks, and a difficulty curve that ramps up as you progress, so it stays engaging whether you play casually or competitively.
As a solo developer, I built it with Flutter and Firebase, using Firebase Remote Config for live tuning and a custom level editor to speed up content creation. The mascot is animated in Rive. It’s fully localized in English, Hungarian and German. I’d love any honest feedback on gameplay, difficulty balance, and the overall feel — and I’m always curious what word games you all enjoy on mobile.

Free to Play Status:
Free to play

Demo/Key available

Paid

Involvement: I’m the solo developer — I designed, programmed, and published the game myself under my studio Pixel Nomad Studio. Everything from the gameplay and level design to the store listing and localization was done by me.

[Free] WordForge – a word-building puzzle & battle game I just launched as a solo dev

Hey everyone! I finally launched my first game after months of solo work – WordForge, a word puzzle where you build words, train your brain, and go head-to-head in word battles. Clean, no-clutter UI, free to play.
It’s brand new, so there aren’t many ratings yet – I’d really appreciate any honest feedback on the gameplay, difficulty, or the AI opponent. Anything that feels off or could be better, I want to hear it.
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wordforge-word-battle-puzzle/id6772829521
Happy to answer any questions about how it was built (Flutter + Firebase, if anyone’s curious).

I built a word game with both Hungarian and English dictionaries — would love this community’s honest take

Hey all,
Long-time word game fan here. I just finished building WordForge, a word-building game with a Classic and a Battle mode. The thing I cared most about was the dictionaries — it ships with English, Hungarian, French and German, and getting the non-English ones to feel fair and complete was honestly the hardest part. As a Hungarian speaker, it always bugged me how few word games handle anything beyond English properly.
I’m a solo developer and this is my first real launch, so I’m genuinely more interested in feedback than downloads. A tester on an old low-end device already caught some UI problems I’d never have spotted myself, which made me realize how much I don’t know.
A few things I’m still unsure about and would love this community’s opinion on:
Should a word game auto-score partial words, or always require a confirm step? (Got mixed feedback on this.)
For multi-language dictionaries, how deep does each one need to be before it feels “fair” to serious players?
It’s an active project — based on tester feedback I’m already working on the next update, including a kids mode (playable from around age 4, no ads, parent-gated) to make it something families can share too.
If anyone wants to try it, I’ll drop the links in a comment so the post stays about the discussion. Happy to talk Flutter, building multi-language dictionaries, or the launch grind.

Looking for Playtesters! 🎮 WordForge: Word Battle & Puzzle – Need your brainpower!

Hey r/[PixelNomadStudio],
I’m currently developing WordForge: Word Battle & Puzzle, a mobile game designed for everyone who loves word games, anagrams, and brain teasers. It’s all about crafting words, challenging your vocabulary, and solving puzzles in a clean, modern interface.
We are reaching a crucial milestone and preparing for the official launch on the Google Play Store. To make this happen, we need 12 dedicated playtesters to join our 14-day closed beta and help us squash the remaining bugs and polish the user experience.
🚀 What is WordForge?
It’s a fresh take on classic word puzzles where strategy meets vocabulary. Whether you want to challenge yourself or just relax with some word-crafting, it’s built to keep your brain sharp. (We are also working on a "Junior" version for kids to make learning words fun!).

[Android/iOS] WordForge — word puzzle game, looking for beta testers (free, ~5 min)

Hi everyone! I'm an indie dev and I'm looking for beta testers for my word puzzle game, WordForge.

What it is: a premium word game with two modes — Classic (relaxed, tactical, vs a smart AI) and Battle (fast, timed matches with power-ups). Daily missions, chests, leaderboards, and full dictionaries in English, Hungarian, German and French.

What I need: play a few rounds, and tell me what feels off — bugs, confusing UI, balance, anything. Honest feedback is gold. 🙏

How to join:

https://pixelnomadstudio.com/wordforge/test

It's completely free. Thanks a ton — every tester genuinely helps! 💚
