Just curious…how’s the homestuck scene in the strider state? The DC community is awesome and NY’s is growing like crazy but unfortunately I’ll be moving southwards so my fingers are crossed to bump into other homestucks there especially cosplayers! If anyone has any stories or advice that’d be great!

Does anyone ever have these ideas that you want to create but don’t know where to start. So then you look on social media(i know, horrible idea) and see all these incredible things people are doing. All this bending and manipulation of crafts from animation to 3D modeling to compositing to after effects etc.

Suddenly your so inspired but then become paralyzed? Almost lost and overwhelmed where you start to question alot about ur own creative identity or if ur idea is something you should’ve ever pursued in the first place? If you can relate, how do you get out of it to make sure you pick sm up tmr. How do you decide on one thing?

Hi. I attempted sewing arm socks today and flipped it inside out and saw tons of holes. I’m hand sewing and honestly couldn’t even tell you what stitch i was using just the most basic one i’d assume. Is there a recommended stitch I should do for arm socks? Unfortunately i don’t have access to a sewing machine only an embroidery machine that I don’t know how to use.

Hi I’m an incoming grad for a Masters in Game Design and Development, i’m currently committed to SMU but got accepted to NYU yesterday. Whenever i look at princeton reviews and school rankings NYU is always #1/#2 for this area of study but when i did a school tour the Game Center was incredibly…underwhelming. There wasn’t a single computer lab, wires coming from the roof, a small library and only half a floor of dedicated classes. But then in visiting schools like Utah and SMU they were absolutely grand giving the studio like experience to a T! With huge PC’s, cubicles, wacom cintiqs, rooms with fully installed whiteboard walls, dedicated buildings for the area of study, and graduates walking out with published games. So now i’m just confused…why is the tisch ranked #1? All i got from my research was its “art-approach”.
