Could have been a nice sunny 4th of July but instead is a windy, Smoky day. Guess no fireworks of this year.

I was procrastinating this job of fixing the knock sensor by relocating it on top of the engine and not doing the 3/4 hour tearing the manifold apart to just swap the bad sensor. Now I shouldn’t have horrible gas mileage and stop running rich and idle low RPM. No check engine light anymore

And E break works now

So was figuring out why the e brake don’t engage and this part was seized and try to get it loose and functionable and it broke off my luck. Is this fixable

While replacing the fuel filter we came across this connector with chop wires hanging

As I regular do check under the hood I see a hose supposed to be there in that fitting. Where is that hose connect to?

(The right one ->) 97,manual,4 cylinder, 240k miles. Last owner said it overheats, but it don’t and notices the heater don’t blow hot. But all around it’s a good looking truck
