After my finance and I get married, we will be living in my parent’s basement while we finish school. I plan on attending med school after I finish my pre reqs so we could wind up moving anywhere in the country. Because of this, we don’t really need any furniture, cooking stuff, or things that would otherwise be difficult to move with + My parent’s basement has everything that we need for living so we are lost on what to put. I understand that there will be a time where we will need our own things, but that won’t be for another 2 years.

Any suggestions on what to put on our registry?
So far we have: air purifier, bidet, some camping gear, nice blender with to-go attachments, honeymoon fund.

Our hobbies include: gym, backpacking, swimming, movies, plants, running, studying (not really a hobby, but something that we have to do lol)

Anyone know which two zool classes will fulfill the bio I and bio II requirements for med school prereqs?

Additionally, does anyone have a map of every course to take? I know the pre med counseling does, but it also has a lot of fluff.

Would doing respite care count towards clinical hours?

For those who don’t know, respite care is caring for those with disabilities / on the spectrum (typically more extreme). The work can involve helping with medications, feeding via various methods, bathing and ensuring the overall wellbeing of an individual. At times this could involve assisting during medical emergencies (typically seizures).

The work also has a very non medical side (going to the movies, hanging out the park).

*AAMC has home caregiver listed as “clinical”, but it’s unclear as to what the umbrella of caregiver covers.

I recently upgraded my phone to the iphone 17. I just finished transferring my data over, but both my new and old phone show no SIM/SOS.

Things I have tried:

-Restarting both

-Network restarts

-airplane mode off/on

It's like my data/service SIM (AT&T) just disappeared. Any suggestions?
