Consent workshop

Yall know that "mandatory" consent workshop we're all supposed to get in first year? Well my course never got it, yet everyone I know on every other course I know did get it? Is this normal or have we genuinely been forgotten?

I don't wanna go, it sounds like bs to me anyway tbh, but I'm applying to be on the freshers team next year, and they gave me an interview next week but I'm worried I won't be let on because of this. What should I do?

Anyone know what's going on tonight?

On the way through city on the bus and there's police everywhere! Like all across the place there's like 15 vans we've counted so far, some transport police ones? And there were a load in the train station too!

How bad are test waiting times?

How long are they really cause people make it out to be like foreverrr, but then I see people on this sub saying they failed but they've got another test in like a month? Are they just lucky asf or what? So the people that have them booked, when did you book it for and how long ago did you book it? Cause I dunno if I should be stressed or not. Ty!

Okay so I'm trying to learn to drive this year and I wanna do it as soon as possible so that when I go back to uni in September I don't have to rely on the awful public transport system. I know I'm not likely to have fully passed by then but I at least wanna be having sat one practical by then. My provisional is in the mail, once it comes I'm going to book both a theory and a practical for as soon as I can.

As for lessons, I've tried so many times to research it but every time I do I get conflicting info and it's driving me insane. What do you think is the best way to go about this? Do I do an intensive course? Do I do one or two lessons and then an intensive? Do I just do plain old lessons several times a week? Which method is best to get me passed asap, and how do I know a bad instructor from a good one?

bearing in mind I haven't got any experience, and I'm looking to do manual. Please help! Thanks Reddit!
