Diffuser straightens my hair.

If I air dry, it takes ages for my hair to dry and it gets very frizzy.

But when I diffuse, regardless of the method, heat or speed, my hair goes straight. Because the air flow is diffuse, my hair gets blown all over and the cuticle is disrupted and I get a straight, frizzy mess.

At least if I blow dry my hair straight, I can get it to look sort of smooth for a short time.

Does anyone else have this issue. What do you do?

How do I get a strapless bra to stay up?

They're always down by my waist within a few hours of putting them on. I have to go braless with sleeveless or off the shoulder items which looks terrible. I wear a 28/30 FF/G.

Windows 11: On Zoom, either speaker or microphone works, but not both at the same time.

I recently started using an Asus Zenbook Duo with Windows 11 and found that when using Zoom, I could not get the microphone to work but the speaker was working fine.

Then the laptop did a whole bunch of updates, including an update to Windows 11 25H2, and the situation switched, so I can use the mic with Zoom but no sound comes out of the speakers. The situation is the same with an external headset or the built-in speaker/mic.

I can't find an Exclusive mode in my Windows settings. I use Avast Premium antivirus and Webcam Shield is turned off. Zoom permissions are turned on in Windows settings, and I can't find any advanced sound options in Zoom settings.*

How can I fix this?

What are the pros and cons of going to an independent stylist vs a salon employee?

Especially in termd of quality of results, what can I expect from a stylist who rents a chair vs one who is employed (manager or senior stylist) by a salon?

If the independent stylist has more years of experience, is that offset by the fact that they don't have an employer who oversees their work or requires them to continually upgrade their skilld?

I'm in the UK.

How can this hair colour be fixed?

1st photo is how my hair looks now. My natural hair colour is dark brown with grey. This was done by a professional stylist . Colours you see are 1. Dark brown demipermant meant to cover greys. (Stylist did the roots then spent 10 minutes on the ends.) 2. Caramel higlights that have fades. The only reason I got higlights is the stylist originally dyed my hair too dark (it turned black) and when I complained she suggested adding highlights so my hair wouldn't look so harsh against my face. I never wanted bleach on my hair. 3. Grey hair that showed up again after I shampooed just once after getting it coloured. I used a sulphate free shampoo.

Photo 2 is how my hair looked after being coloured at the salon I used to go to. (I moved). It's all over demipermanent.

I have an appointment with a 3rd salon (that I have been to a few times) for colour correction, but I'm not sure what to expect or what to ask for.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of getting a cut and colour - in terms of quality of service and results - by someone who rents in a chair in a salon but otherwise operates independently, vs an employee in for a salon that has a hierarchical structure (junior stylists, senior stylists, etc)?

I'm in the UK, so UK qualification requirements apply.

A shampoo is advertised for dry hair and untreated hair. Does that mean it's not suitable for hair that's been dyed or chemically straightened or curled?
