Are There Any Mods Made for the Atari 2600+?

I have had the Atari 2600+ for a couple years at this point, and I am very happy with it. As a game collector, I think it's a very convenient way to collect and play the games for the console without having to bother with the outdated hardware or connections. It's very reliable and I've had few issues with it.

However, it's certainly not perfect. The biggest issue I have with it is that it's not compatible with everything. It's compatible with enough that I don't feel let down and it plays the vast majority of the games I'm interested in, but there are some blind spots (such as not being able to use the Grand Prix steering wheel controller or being able to play Pitfall 2).

Today, I was thinking about the process of updating the firmware. I don't know much about console mods, but from what I do know it seemed it could be pretty easy to be able to mod the console just by downloading a program onto it. Problem is, I haven't been able to find any for it.

Has anyone made any downloadable mods for the console? Where would be the best place to find them if there are?

Is There Anywhere I Can Find a Recording of the Sample Used in "They Might Be Giants"

I've always thought the sample was kind of interesting and I wanted to heard it by itself and had thought about maybe using it in a song I may or may not write.

I've tried looking all over for an isolated clip of the snippet, and I really don't want to have to sit through a bunch of Televangelist sermons to find it.

Has anyone uploaded the clip online anywhere?

Is It Safe to Use Meguiar's Wax/Polish Indoors?

So, I have this CD repair machine that I've been using for a while that uses a polish and a wax. Recently I've run out of the ones that the machine came with and I've been looking to replace them. I've been told that Meguiar's is a good brand to use.

I've been just having one concern and that's using it indoors. Some of the ones I've seen aren't recommended to be used indoors, at least not without adequate ventilation. I am wondering how much of an actual concern this is.

I looked at Autozone today and I found a few that I was interested in, specifically:

- Meguiar's Cleaner Wax

- Meguiar's Ultimate Polish

- Meguiar's Ultimate Compound

- Meguiar's PlastX

Some of them have the "Use with proper ventilation" warning on them. However, some of them don't.

Which of the ones I listed are safe (or safer) to use indoors? Are the ones that don't have that warning safe to use indoors, or do I need to exercise the same caution?

Looking For Help With Head Angles and Getting Hair to Sit Right On Characters' Heads

So I have been in the process of making a webcomic for a few months. I'm a writer who's still pretty new to art, so there's a lot of things I'm still figuring out, one step at a time.

My main focus right now has been to get character proportions and looks right. One of the biggest things I'm having trouble with are heads. I feel like I'm fairly okay when it comes to drawing them front-facing or slightly turned, but when I turn the heads any more than that, they look kinda funky (especially side profiles). On top of that, I've also been having a problem with getting characters' hair to sit on their heads right when their heads are turned.

I've been using a 3D model of a head (using this website) and I even traced over it at different angles to see how sketching them in my style would look. Yet, I'm still having trouble getting it to look right (although it could just be a matter of practice).

(As an aside, just making sure I'm following the rules here, I am going for a simpler, cartoony art style. I haven't really worked too much on developing the style itself, as I am trying to get the base stuff and technique down first.)
