makes it funnier they are dodging the most real Ninjago lasers in this clip

Recently there was a rumor that came up from a leaker we were given no source too that gained traction saying the MC will be a reincarnation story, this idea got traction because another leaker (with credit to their name) said you "kind of play as a female MC" and "there is a reason the MC looks basic" fitting onto this other theory

however something going over everyone's head is the text info for the game calling it a "live a double life", there really isn't anything else that would fit why it would be there

but beyond this the teaser itself does support the theory

- a picture of a person with cut out pieces on them of someone else, as if they aren't fully put together
- someones arm being red around a bunch of normal arms, AKA they aren't fitting in like the others

something important to note is the anime "your name" released around the time Persona 5 released so the most early thoughts for Persona 6 would have been when it was still new and fresh on the mind and was/is a big deal, with that in mind some other key details of note matching with that are (spoilers to your name)

- the red strings of fate show up in the teaser, a huge plot point in your name is showing the two people connected via "the red strings of fate" and is how the two main characters get connected

the phrase "who are you" seen in the teaser is of big note in your name, it's how both main characters try to find out about the other, along with towards a bigger plot point near the end of the film

- trying to find more about the other causes one of the main characters to lose themselves to research, others have pointed out it looks like someone in the teaser is trying to research something

- others have guessed that "John persona" is seeing his own grave in the teaser, in your name it's found out towards the end the other person they are connected too is killed at some point, thus the idea the MC is already dead being fitting, leading into a story of time travel trying to prevent it

take this theory how you will but I thought I should put this info all together (notable pictures from what I quote above)

I won't leak to it directly but seemly the story got leak and >!it had the Universe or Multiverse being threatened stuff to it seemly !<

actually it seems the story leak might be fake? take the above with a lot of salt, but the general idea of the canon part still holds true despite that
