Dumb question

I’m curious why they don’t treat the partner for yeast infections that are caused by them. I understand that they started treating partners for bacterial vaginosis as well, but why not yeast infections? Isn’t it possible for the infection to be passed back and forth? Are men asymptomatic carriers of the yeast infection?

I used to get yeast infections after oral sex, and I always thought that my partner should be treated as well. He didn’t because he had no symptoms. I’m left wondering why this isn’t the case.

What the hell is this

I went through a yeast and bacterial vaginosis cycle, but it finally subsided. However, I’ve been experiencing severe irritation for almost a month now. Yesterday, I noticed white discharge all over my vulva. It doesn’t resemble yeast; instead, it’s white, slimy, and odorless. The discharge is present in my vulva folds and throughout my vulva. Additionally, I’ve started experiencing random itching, pain, and heightened sensitivity.

On Monday, I took a test to check for mycoplasma, STIs, yeast, and bacterial vaginosis. The results were negative for all these conditions. However, they did detect cervicitis, and I was prescribed azithromycin for a single dose. I took the medication yesterday. Despite taking the medication, I still feel off. I have an itchy sensation on the external vulva and between my lips, and I’m also sensitive to my clitoris. I’m sensitive to hot and cold water. It burns to touch it and when pee touched it.

I used **Terconazole for 7 days for a yeast infection. Since finishing it about a week ago, I’ve had lingering symptoms. I now have mild itching and occasional burning, mostly on one side of my labia. The itch is not severe or constant, but it comes and goes and is sometimes triggered by friction or touch. Same with the burning. My discharge looks like this rn. I’m worried if it’s back again

Has anyone had vulvar itching that mostly happens with friction (like gym or touch) and burning with insertion after using antifungal cream? It’s been a week since I stopped the cream. I was told I didn’t have an infection anymore on Monday, but I was still itching, and I decided to insert my fingers in, and I was burning for 2 days. Burning went away, but it feels like tiny bugs are in my labia, and it’s mostly on one side. My baseline itching is improving, but certain triggers flare it. Did this turn out to be irritation/healing vs ongoing yeast?
My doctor wants to do a biopsy, but I can’t afford it.
that

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice from people who have dealt with sensitivity or recurrent yeast infections. I seem to get yeast symptoms after oral sex sometimes, so I’m trying to figure out the best lube to use and what ingredients to avoid.

I don’t want anything sticky, heavily scented, or something that could throw my pH off. I’ve been considering SKYN water-based lube since that’s the condom brand I use , but I’m not sure if it’s a good option for someone prone to irritation/yeast.

Have any of you found a lube that works well for sensitive skin or recurrent yeast issues? Did switching lubes actually help, or was saliva/oral sex the bigger trigger?

Would really appreciate ingredient tips or brand recommendations. Thank you!

After enduring two months of consecutive infections from oral sex, I am finally free. I have tested negative for everything. I am so relieved and happy that I couldn’t help but cry.
