Added rhinestones to a tee for a mermaid themed brunch

I'm going to crop it and scoop the neck and trim the sleeves, but the rhinestoning is done! Bestie and I are going to a mermaid brunch and I think it will be just the thing!

Made a tiny cake (bag charm) for my sister's birthday

I struggled to think of anything she would like that felt simple enough for my current skill level but I think it came out pretty cute for a beginner's project.

Advice needed

I would like to add rhinestones to this shirt for a mermaid brunch. Should I try to match the color gradient with the purple, blue, and green that I have? Or just overlay it with crystal AB or blue AB? Or do something else entirely? Very grateful for your thoughts!

Best clothing website(s) for plus size guest at black tie wedding?

Hi, all! I'm trying to help my best friend find something to wear to her nephew's wedding in October. The dress code is black tie optional, which is a first for her, and she'd like to go all out. Unfortunately, though, we are having a hard time finding plus size options locally. Are there any websites that you could recommend?

Thank you so much!

Added rhinestones to a Kesha tee

First time rhinestoning on fabric but I wanted something fun and sparkly for when we go to her show next week. I'm glad I started early bc it took way longer than expected! Probably going to crop the waist and give it a scoop neck next.

Therapist recommendations, please

Hi all,

I live in a different part of the country but my daughter lives in Las Vegas and is trying to find a therapist to help with depression symptoms as she's navigating some medical challenges, work challenges, etc.

I am hoping to find a therapist that works with young (early 20s), LGBTQ, neurodiverse clients. Telehealth is strongly preferred, as is a female provider. Needs to be nonreligious. Also needs to accept self-pay as daughter is uninsured. We will help with the costs as much as we can but if there are low-cost or affordable clinics that would be a huge bonus.

If you know of someone that might be a good fit please please please drop their info below! Of course I've tried Google but it's pretty overwhelming.

Thank you for reading!

Found a very touching tribute to a local laundress (born 1850) while walking through the park

This is part of a walking path that pays homage to various community leaders from the past. I thought this one in particular might be appreciated here.

It reads:

Eliza Fowler was born in 1850 in Fayette County, Tennessee and later moved to Conway, Arkansas, in 1883. She sheltered and cared for several orphaned children throughout her lifetime and was a member of St. John's Baptist Church. Also of note, Eliza provided the highest grade of laundry services, having trained technically in Memphis, Tennessee. Her obitary noted that Eliza, also known as Bettie or Aunt Liza, was "loved and respected."
