My DreamSnaps Entry This Week - Getting Artsy

I went with an enchanted little artist’s hideaway this week. 💜

I wanted it to feel like my character had wandered into a magical forest, set up her easel by the water, and just started painting whatever caught her eye. 🌿🎨

What do you guys think? And if you’re doing this week’s DreamSnaps too, drop yours below! I’d love to see what everyone created! ✨

What’s one book you could convince someone to read in a single sentence?

Let’s play a game.
Describe a book in one sentence only.
No spoilers.
Don’t say the title.
If someone replies with “I’m in” or “I want to read it,” then reveal the title.
I’m curious to see how many books end up on people’s TBRs from just one sentence. I’ll start in the comments.

I can finally share Nocturne Gardens! 🌙✨

I've been quietly working on this for a while, and it ended up becoming way bigger than I originally planned. (Doesn't every Dreamlight project? 😂)

I wanted a flower garden that actually felt like a place to explore instead of rows of crops. Every section has its own little theme, and I had so much fun putting all the different gardens together.

If you'd ever like to come explore it for yourself, I'd be happy to open my valley! Whether you just want to look around or need to stock up on flowers, just send me a message and we'll set up a visit. 🌿💜

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Which area is your favorite? 🌸✨

I swear Eternity Isle was designed to make us all lose our minds

Did they REALLY need to make this map with this many hills, twists, turns, hidden paths, and biomes stacked behind other biomes? Every quest is like, "Go talk to Rapunzel" Cool... let me just hike up three hills, go through the jungle, somehow end up in the desert, accidentally find Gaston twice, run into EVE, and then realize I'm somehow right back where I started.

I've been to Eternity Isle so many times and I STILL get completely turned around. I swear I spend more time opening the map than actually doing quests. Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets hopelessly lost every single time I come here!! UGHHH!

These Ancient Vacuums are LIFE CHANGING. 😭 BUT....

I spent way too long running around every biome picking up herbs and flowers like some kind of unpaid landscaper.

Now I just walk up, hit a button, and boom... everything's collected.

BUT...

Can we please get an Ancient Storage Manager next? 😂

We literally already have Smart Transfer. The game already knows where my stuff goes. SO WHY am I still manually running around my storage room putting every item into the right chest?

Gameloft... we have the technology. Let the machines do the work. I want to dump my inventory into one chest and watch everything magically sort itself into the correct storage boxes.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Show me your Hercules Event builds! 🏛️⚡

I’m looking for inspiration! If you’ve decorated with the new Hercules event/Star Path items, show me your builds! Full biomes, little corners, or just your favorite setup…I want to see how everyone’s using the new furniture. 🏛️⚡📸

Working on a fish market... what do you think so far?

Me: "I'm just going to build a small fish market."

Also me: accidentally builds an entire harbor. 😂

Still have to stock everything, but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming together!

Am I the only one who completely wipes a biome the second I unlock it? 😂

The first thing I do is remove everything. Trees, rocks, bushes… gone. I need a totally blank canvas before I can start envisioning what I want the space to become.
I know some people decorate around the natural layout, but my brain just can’t process the vision until it’s empty. 😅
Am I alone in this, or are there other “clear it all first” decorators out there?

Did one book permanently change the way you judge every book afterward?

I was thinking about how every reader seems to have *that one book* that quietly resets the bar.

Not necessarily your favorite of all time, but the one that made you think, “Now every book has to live up to this.”

Did you have one? What was it about that book that changed your expectations as a reader?

I’m more interested in *why* than just the title.

If you could add ONE Disney movie as the next DLC, what would it be?

✨ Just for fun…

If you could choose ONE Disney movie to become the next Dreamlight Valley DLC, what would it be? 👀

It could include a new realm, biome, characters, furniture, companions, quests… the whole package!

Mine would have to be The Black Cauldron. Give me a dark, enchanted forest, creepy castle ruins, magical artifacts, and Taran, Eilonwy, Gurgi, and the Horned King. 🖤

What’s your pick?

🏡 Storage House or Storage Island? 🤔

I’m curious what everyone’s doing these days.

Do you keep all your storage inside one giant storage house, or did you dedicate an entire floating island just for storage and crafting?

I’ve seen some incredibly organized setups for both, and I’m torn on which route I like better.

So…
✨ Which one did you choose?
✨ Why did you go that route?
✨ If you could start over, would you do it differently?

If you’re willing to show off your setup- I love seeing how creative everyone gets with organizing their valley, whether it’s beautifully decorated or pure organized chaos.

Companion Check! 🐾

I'm curious...

What's your go-to companion in Dreamlight Valley, and which one is your absolute favorite?

They don't have to be the same! Sometimes I pick one because it matches my outfit, and other times it's just the little buddy I can't stop bringing everywhere. 😂

For me, I always find myself going back to the Black Raven and the Blossom Dragon. I love the spooky vibe of the raven, but the Blossom Dragon is just too adorable to leave behind. 🖤🌸🐉

Bonus questions:

  • 🖤 Which companion do you think is the most underrated?
  • ✨ Which one do you wish had more color variants or styles?

Feel free to drop a screenshot of your character with your favorite companion too. I always love seeing everyone's outfits and valley aesthetic!

Anyone else avoiding spoilers today? 🍯

I’m trying so hard not to spoil the Pooh update for myself because I want to experience everything for the first time on game tonight.
Scrolling Reddit today feels like trying to dodge raindrops. 😂

For those of you who’ve already played…
No spoilers, please!
Just answer with a number:
⭐ How excited should I be from 1 to 10?
I’m genuinely curious if this update lives up to the hype!

Finally finished organizing my floating farm… now I have no idea how to decorate it

After what felt like an eternity, I finally got my floating farm island organized. Every crop has its own plot, and my brain is incredibly satisfied with how neat it is.
The problem is… now it just looks like a giant farm. 😂

I’m struggling with how to decorate it without making harvesting a pain. I’d like it to feel more lived-in and cozy while still being practical. Has anyone decorated their floating farm island in a way that still works well for harvesting? I’d love to see screenshots or hear what themes you went with. Farmhouse? Cottagecore? Market? Something completely different?

Help please- I’m trying really hard not to spend the next six hours moving the same four trees around. 😅🌱

Are you Team Organized or Team Chaos?

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this… 😂
I cannot just throw crops and fruit trees down and call it a day. Everything has to be grouped, lined up, color coordinated, and satisfy whatever tiny spreadsheet goblin lives in my brain.

Harvest day scratches an itch I can’t explain. Walking down perfectly straight rows, grabbing one crop after another, no random trees hiding in the corner… pure serotonin. 💀🌸

Now I’m curious…
I genuinely want to see how everyone organizes (or doesn’t organize) their harvests.

Dazzle Beach Build Ideas

Finally started working on the little Dazzle Beach island by the cave! 🌴✨ I wanted to keep it tropical and open since Eric’s castle is right beside it and Ariel’s little entrance is nearby, but now I’m staring at this empty grassy area wondering what to do next. 😂

What have you all done with this space? I’d love to see screenshots! I’m open to any ideas… market, picnic, tropical gardens, lounging area, hidden cove, anything! I feel like this spot has so much potential, but I’m creatively stuck. 💙🏝️

Curious about everyone's farming workflow

Does anyone else plant dedicated gardens in every biome for quick profits at the beginning stages of the game and keep extra seed storage boxes right next to the stalls? 🫘🌾 It makes the grind so much faster. How do you all like to set up your farming layouts once you advance?

u/LunaKalixx — 2 months ago

Sorry, Remy… the aesthetic won. 🌸💗😂 Here’s my pink-themed restaurant! I’d love to see what everyone else did with theirs.
