"AI and the workforce Town Hall"

I think its great that Beth Macy has gotten different experts to speak on AI usage. I hope that you are able to go if possible!

"AI and the workforce Town Hall" is THIS SUNDAY from 6pm-8pm at 113 W. Beverly Street in Staunton VA

Even better two of the three speaking are local Professors of Bridgewater and JMU!

This will be going as you see on the flyer the concerns and impacts of AI on American Jobs. I hope that this also has some people from different Democratic Committees listen about why so many are against AI.

If you are against Data Centers and the impacts AI has, you should stop using AI to make flyers....Just saying.

With the most recent events that happened at the RNC event in Dallas I would highly suggest people look into local events that are doing nonpartisan voting information.

For those who may have not seen president Trump led the midterm convention crowd in a pledge to himself and urging the crowd of Republican voters to vote in the midterm elections and bring their friends even if they are not registered.

In his own words a pledge to "cheat like hell"

More than ever we need to look into nonpartisan groups that are giving out the proper information the proper sources and the proper websites to register and to vote.

There is an event happening tomorrow in Waynesboro where we will be going over voter registrations, the three amendments happening and also overall information to vote.

Republican Congressman Ben Cline Salem "Debate" at the Rotary Club meeting.

Here is what Ben Cline chose to say when speaking on immigration & how he handled the "Debate Schedule"

He doesn't think there should be ANY pathway to citizenship for people who have lived and worked here 20-30+ years. Ignoring the the work that they do and how they financially contribute to this country billions of dollars each year through property taxes, regular taxes, to social security and Medicaid while not being able to ever receive funds from that.

He also seems to think that setting up a schedule and having prior events and possibly canceling on them is okay due to "priorities."

He thinks Beth Macy should have "better priorities" than to previous events. Where was Beth Macy today? At an event with

Spectrum a multiracial group of women in Roanoke who had leaders in the community, news reporters were allowed in, and other people who are in the community.

Pack With Pride

Join us in showing just how diverse Augusta County really is!

Recently it’s been found that The Board of Trustees at the Augusta County library preemptively voted to not have Pride in 2027 due to the Board of Supervisors canceling last year’s pride event THE WEEK OF IT HAPPENING!

When local queer and allies went to ask why they did not give us an answer. We are going to make sure this time we do.

For more context please go watch the video of the meeting and read the summary on Substack.
