How to transition mouse grips?

Hello :)

I have something claw-like similar, and want to switch to palmgrip as I just find quite comfortable. I have a little problems with micro corrections but I am sure it will sort itself out after some playtime, but I keep going back to my normal grip.

How long does it take for me to adapt to the new mouse grip?

Stuck in old habit's, is my setup really that bad?

Hey :)

I have been using an old GSR mousepad, or like GSR Mousepads in general. I think its 3-4 years old by now? I wash it like...every 4-5 months roughly. I tried switching to a glass mousepad, but after a month of research, trying things out I came to the conclusion that glasspads are just not for me. I got deep into the rabbit hole in skates, sleeves, what glasspad would suit me best etc.

I don't know, it just wasnt for me, so I went back to my GSR. I play a lot of Battlefield 6 and Warzone, COD Multiplayer too. I use 50cm/360 mostly, sometimes lower. I am an alright player in my opinion, but a few friends of mine who are way more into periphials told me my setup is really bad for the game's I play. I wanted to get myself an Artisian Type99 in soft and mid but my GSR is treating me good still but I do plan on getting the type99 in the future.

My friend said the type99 is literally made for TacFPS in mind, and it has such a high dynamic friction (Whatever that means) making it bad for tracking and games I play and that I am sabotaging myself, fighting the mousepad and stuff.

What are your thoughts on this? Is it really that deep?

Something I wish I knew about glasspads sooner

Hey guys! :)

I dont know which flair would be best suited for this so I will leave it blank for now!

I have been going down the glasspad rabbit hole for a while now, my goal as a full time family father of 3 gamer and gym enthusiast? Peak consistency WHEN i get on with the boys.

My throught process was simple, cloth gets slow spots, cloth fibers break down, dead skin and oils get trapped....a glasspad however is an investment while a cloth pad is a consumable.

I got the CR-005 from Wallhack, didnt like it. I got the SP-005 from Wallhack, and I loved it! I put on the UHMW-PE dot skates from Wallhack as I enjoyed the feel of them, raised my sensitivity from 60cm to 40cm/360 (A faster sensitivity) because it just felt right and then? I gamed.
And honestly, the highs were insane....the lows however? Ooof. I would hit the most crazy shot and then miss an enemy right infront of me 2-3 times.

Now to the thing I wish I knew sooner about glasspads but when I think about, it does make sense. Like I mentioned I am a gym enthusiast, I go to the gym 5 times a week doing heavy lifting, building muscle etc.

Why does it matter? Well, because when you go to the gym and do heavy lifting, it heavily taxes your Central Nervous System (CNS) and depletes local muscle glycogen. Basically, it reduces fine motor control and incudes physiological micro-tremors. And on a glass mousepad with virtually zero static friction? Yeah, you will notice. You will notice A LOT.

I do not want to write much more as it is already quite long, but I wish I knew this sooner and for anyone who thinks about getting a glass mousepad and you work out or do heavy labor? Maybe think twice, for me personally I might switch back to my old setup which is a Artisian Key83 and 60cm/360, because no matter what, it is the best for me. The static friction of the cloth and the reliance on gross motor skills of my old 60cm/360 sensitivity will mask my physiological fatigue, raising my absolute lowest performance floor and since I dont game that much, id like to be atleast not AS crap as I am on glass.

Of course this is just my personal experience, someone could lift 100kg more than me and be fine on glass and it is just an skill issue, could be of course, I am just sharing my experience :)

Thanks for reading!

How do you choose your sensitivity?

Hey! :)

I wonder how many of you chose your sensitivity once you got into aiming and aimtrainers, did you choose by how good you perform or by how it feels/how you like the feel of it?

Because I usually perform better on a higher sensitivity in the 40cm/360 range, but I love playing on 60cm/360. Just using my arm, the locked in feeling, great flicks and stable tracking is something that makes me so confident and feels awesome. Since I lift heavy in the gym, a sensitivity like this also helps not being shakey or jittery after, because you know, muscle fatigue and stuff.

I am not saying I cant perform good on 60cm/306, I just wondered if you use the settings where you perform best on or by how comfortable it is. OR if its just me and you feel comfortable on the setting you perform best haha, anyways, thanks for reading!

Anyone using Artisian Key83 with really low sens?

Hey guys! I am currently spending tons of money to find the best mousepad combination for my sensitivity/games of choice. I tried Skypad 3.0, SP-004, Sp-005 and the CR-005 by now with various mouseskates. I also tried from my main sensitivity to 60cm/360 to like 40 and down to 30cm/360, I perform on all of them good with said combinations and I stuck with 40cm, SP-005 and Wallhack UHMW-PE dot skates for now as it feels the most comfortable and consistent. I am going for the most consistent experience I can, that is why I tried glasspads currently.

Today I got an Artisian Key83 and I am interested as it doesnt feel like all my other cloth mousepads, so I wondered if anyone out there is using a similar low sensitivity on this mousepad and hopefully you can give me some feedback how it goes as I heard a lot about the Artisian mousepads and wonder how it compares with glasspads in terms of consistency/humidity etc.

I play COD, Battlefield, Titanfall, Splitgate and pretty much everything that isnt a TacFPS :)

Thank you!

How to fight the inconsistent feeling of glasspads?

Hey guys! I got the SP-005 with UHMW-PE dot skates from Wallhack, use 40cm/360 currently and I am doing good online but I have quite a problem with hitting shots consistently. Is it something I get used to over time or should I use even slower skates? I dont want the skates to get sticky though as Id like to keep the glide

Thanks!

Best mouseskates for SP-004/005?

Hey :) I just wanted to ask something really quick, I got the UHMWPE Wallhack dot skates, Obsidian dot skates (The red ones) and the Obsidian Air (The purple ones) dot skates. After trying them, I mostly like the UHMWPE but I heard online that they get "sticky" with time, and I am searching for dot skates that dont do that and let me track without problem and stickyness but still provide control. Compared to the UHMWPE skates, the obsidian ones feel quite faster but heard they are also good for control.

Thanks!

Why dont more people use low sensitivity on glasspads?

I just wondered because when you see someone playing on a glasspad they usually rock a highish sensitivity, why not 50cm/360 or lower? I am a 50cm/360 user and use it on a glasspad with no issues, just wondering because I do want to optimize my setup and if low sensitivity on glasspad doesnt make that much sense then Id try a higher one. I did read that the sensitivity should not depend on the mousepad, so what works on cloth also works on glass but am I just not in the "normal" range of cm/360 or why am I not seeing more people play with a sensitivity similary low?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a cm/360 range best suited for glasspads?

Low sens user here, I previously had around 80cm/360 (I dont play Tacfps), my main games are COD, Battlefield, Splitgate and also some The Finals. I switched around 5 months ago to around 50cm/360 and never felt more confident and better in aiming, but I am considering to switch from my Artisian type99 to a glasspad, more specifically the Wallhack CR-005 which should cater more to the control type.

I did all my research regarding skates and everything, I got a bunch of different skates sitting here ready :) However, something I did not consider or think about was my sensitivity. Is there a more optimal cm/360 range or is my 50cm/360 still good on a glasspad or should I raise it?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone using the Wallhack CR-005 for other games than Tacfps?

Hey :) All I see is people mentioning the CR-005 as being best suited for tacfps players, but I am not a tacfps player and wondered if anyone else is using this mousepad and the wallhack uhmwpe skates in combination and how you like it and what you would compare it to! I am inches from buying a CR-005 but the price combined with the fact that I can press down to slow the pad down makes me hesistant because I have poor tension management Id just rather want a overall slower glasspad experience without the added factor of friction when pressing down.

Torn between glasspads, I need your help!

Hey :) Recently I got very interested in the CR-005 from Wallhack. I own some UHMW-PE control skates from Wallhack and I am ready to go into the rabbit hole of glasspads, I have owned a Skypad 3.0 once but didnt quite enjoy it, but back then I didnt know about sleeves and skates/dot skates and the different types of skates that affect glide and didnt know my own preferences.

I am ready to buy another glasspad, and heard the CR-005 is control focused which I really like, as glasspads felt very uncontrolled. However, one thing I am unsure of is the advertised friction when pressing down into the pad, kinda like cloth and compareable from what I have seen by many with an Artisian Zero. Now, I am really not good with tension management and I do press into the pad in stressful situations, much to my annoyance because when it happens, I mostly die due to the friction I did not mean to create.

One thing about glasspads I really loved is that the surface doesnt change, so I played with the thought of getting another one to try because they came a long way by now.

I wanted to ask how the added friction from the CR-005 feels and if you just adapt to it over time, or if I should look for glasspads that are just in general slower but dont have the added friction when pressing down! Also, how is the glide then because I Imagine if I press down into the pad in a stressful situation, the smooth nice glide from the glass will be very jerky

Thank you :)

Any Wallhack CR-005 users here?

I currently use a Artisian Type99 soft. I use a low sensitivity of around 50cm/360 and I am interested in this mousepad, as it seems like everything Id want, with the good perks of it being a glasspad (Cleaning, no humidity issue, consistency, long living etc.) while also not being as fast and control orientated. I play very defensively and tactical, so not that fast. I do NOT play tacfps games though, more fast paced games like Titanfall, Battlefield, COD, Splitgate and yes, I like playing with that mousepad/sensitivity in fast games.

Now, one thing I also worry about is, due to my partner sleeping when I game, I know glasspads can be quite noisy with scratches and stuff, how bad is it with the CR-005 compared to others on the market? And how does it feel compared to other glasspads/control pads?

▲ 18 r/wow

Newcomer to Wow, I have missed out.

I am a longtime mmorpg enjoyer but my only main MMO has been Swtor (Star Wars the old republic) and ESO (Elder Scrolls Online). I never tried wow because the whole setting is just something I am not interested in in that fantasy stuff, just never was into it and due to that never tried wow. I am also not a huge fan of subscriptions, yes swtor also has one but I never payed that one either, I just dont like having to play because otherwise it would be a waste of money I just dont play a lot in general.

So I just tried wow due to being incredibly bored and since there is a free trial I was like alright why not. I ended up with a female forsaken/undead and my headcanon for that character was that she was a prideful and fierce warrior, using two handed weapons to overpower her foes but died in battle, and was resurrected. Now undead, shamed and well, forsaken by her previous allies she now uses dual-wielding weapons and rage/fury to decimate her enemies, for the horde!!

Something I noticed as a longtime swtor and eso player is the wide variaty of animations and like, how NPC's call you by your class and stuff Idk. In Swtor for instance its just, you are either a Sith/Jedi and beyond that its between a warrior or a inquisitor, those who know, know. But the story and like, the atmosphere doesnt really adress if you are a marauder (a dual wield spec) or a juggernaut (A single handed weapon spec) and it just feels like wow makes changes and things matter more in a way. I also felt like tanks are actual tanks, healers are actual healers in wow compared to ESO especially and swtor, suuure you have tanks, healers and DD's in swtor aswell but in wow they feel way more impactful, in a lot of content you dont need a healer or a tank in swtor, many classes also can heal or have shields or something, while in wow you KNOW, you FEEL a tank or a healer, also gear matters a whole lot more and I dont know, there is just way more to do and to explore for a newcomer compared to ESO or Swtor FOR ME.

I might have to subscribe once I am lvl 20 with most classes, I am still unsure which I like most but so far the fury warrior is my favorite! Rogue is next :)

Game black screen on startup?

Hey guys, i am not new to Skyrim modding and after a few years of not playing I wanted to try this game again, obviously with mods! I know my way around troubleshooting, reading mod's descriptions etc. I use MO2 and I also know my way around that. I do not use ENB Mods.

Now to my problem, which I never had before mind you and also happens with Vanilla Skyrim! When I start the game, the bethesda intro plays and after the music plays it stays black! No menu, no nothing. I deinstalled and reinstalled the game several times, and it worked the last 3 times so I thought alright fixed it, now lets mod aaaand I noticed it once more has the blackscreen problem.

I also cannot close the game unless I use the taskmanager. I verified the ini files and everything which made me really confused as this problem seems very inconsistent as it happened with vanilla skyrim aswell
