I got really good at pretending I didn't see people I know at the grocery store
One day I realized nobody was pretending anymore
I still think about the guy with the boiled potato
I got into a hotel ellevator and there was already a guy in there wearing a full suit and holding a boiled potatis. I looked at the potato He looked at me. Neither of us said anything. He got off on the third floor. I still have no idea what the potato was for
I went to Target for one thing and left with only that thing
No snacks
No candles
No random $14 thing I absolutely did not need
Just the one thing
Honestly I'm a little concerned about who I've become
I realized I don't know what my apartment smells like
I was out of town for a few days last week. When I got home, I opened the door and immediately noticed that my apartment had... a smell. Not a bad one, just a smell. It only lasted a few seconds before I stopped noticing it completely. It made me realize I probably have no idea what my apartment normally smells like, because my brain filters it out 99% of the time. Now I'm kind of curious what other people's homes smell like to them after they've been away.
