Liquid Verisium Reroll Cheat Sheet

compared to the last variation I added a lot of explanation at the side so people who are not too familiar with the mechanic should still be able to understand it.

I will give out a link to the google sheet variant when I have cleaned the site up a bit more. For now the png will do :D

Anything important missing? Let me know

Liquid Verisium Rerolling Cheat Sheet (First Draft)

Currently working on a helping sheet for liquid verisium as many have asked. This is my current draft. Any ideas on improvements?

In the end its an individual decision based on many factors but having some form of reference might help some people out

1 hp Eva Stacker ToTa Farmer (Super low budget)

https://pobb.in/UKGRHm2ZTci0

Ill preface this with I am NOT playing the event.

HOWEVER I have played tons and tons of tota back then and just got reminded of my old char there

It was basically invulnerable tota farmer that could do an entire turnament in like 12-15 minutes on practically no budget. We assembled the char on like day 2 in group found

The old pob still is on hierophant, though there should be some interesting phrecia choices for sure

As I still am very busy with poe2 I am not going to test this char out in the event but wanted to share it for those that are interested

Feel free to ask if any questions come up and ill try to answer them

mind, its been 3 years

Aldur's Saga Got Insane Buffs

Aldur's Saga got heavily buffed

Liquid Verisium inherits the Aldur's Saga modifiers. So rerolling in a full 7 rune map for example, will only reroll into other 7+ remnants which is INSANE. This works with lucky as well

Ward Stacking Infernalist | Build Overview

https://youtu.be/ijgnJlDYh8o

A couple of days ago a post has sparked my interest.

Ward stacking infernalist with cast on ailment stuff. I wanted to create a sekhema farmer anyways and this build has very cool tech at its hands. Due to how honor works we can not be damaged if it only damages our ward. Aside from dots this means that we are immune to any honor damage. Ignite and burn somehow still damage honor. I have carried a 3 person Uber Sekhema at level 78.

However as I was leveling this char it turned out to be much more than just a sekhema farmer. With gear at around 15 div budget I was able to burn through t15 maps already. Is it squishy? Yes. Can it be more tanky? For sure. Though the charm lies in how different this character gears to anything I have done ever.

Its very interesting to build items for the build as they are fairly far away from the meta. This makes pieces very cheap to get early on and very fun to craft later.

This is how the current char looks: (Some upgrades have been made so its not as cheap anymore)

However there still are a lot of things to figure out. Which nodes are the best on the tree? What is the best support setup? Are there more cool gems I have forgotten?

If you have any ideas on how to improve upon the setup I am presenting here let me know. Always glad to see people involved into the building process.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading/watching and have fun with this monstrosity.

Upgrading A PoE2 Character | Core Principles To Character Progression

Upgrading A PoE2 Character

Core Principles To Character Progression

I currently am working on a script for a video and thought it'd make a good post in itself. Anything you would add/change?

The core principles

Upgrading a character in PoE is the most essential and essentially the most difficult part of the game. Break down what it means and you will find everything. From leveling, changing gems, adding new support, items, runes, etc. Every change to your character can and should be an upgrade. Today we are focusing mostly on the gear aspect of this.

  • Order of Upgrades
    • When to put which piece of the puzzle can be one of the most difficult questions, every player must answer eventually
    • Most of the time you go by biggest bang for the smallest buck. But that can be hard to track down. Especially when you are new to your build, or the game entirely.
    • The following points help identifying the right choices in the right moments

  • More is Less
    • Upgrading multiple pieces at once always is cheaper than going one by one.
    • Not only can you put on new pieces that fit each other, also you don’t waste time by thinking about singular upgrades all the time
    • Are you doing a change in support gems? Go through your entire setup. Where can you improve gems, levels, etc
    • This also helps not to miss upgrades or gem levels. Would be a shame to run a level 6 skill at level 85 because you forgot about it and wonder why it feels weak

  • Upgrade when you must, not when you can
    • You CAN always do upgrades. A rune here, a support gem there. It helps. Slightly
    • As long as you feel comfortable with the situation your char is in, run it. Accumulate currency and work on a singular big upgrade session
    • You sit in front of the arbiter and realise you still run level 45 gloves? Might be a good point in going through your entire gear, check your wallet and unequip everything you feel is too bad to keep
    • Do some math on how much resistances, life, damage, etc. you are looking for. Then check the market. Maybe you find a belt that fits most resistances. That opens up more damage for rings. But doing all these at the same time gives you the opportunity to find a good deal on some pieces that enable a bigger investment into other slots

  • Windows of opportunity
    • Sitting in front of uber Arbiter isn’t exactly a daily task for most players. So, using just that as your primary point of upgrading is kind of meaningless
    • What I like to do is take windows of opportunity. Whenever I am doing small crafting while mapping, I am looking at the outcome and check if it's something to sell or something to keep
    • In general, you want to craft all the time, but that’s another post
    • Whenever I see an item, I feel like would be an upgrade, I make an upgrade assessment
      • How much does this item help right now
      • How many pieces do I need to change
      • Does my wallet allow it
      • What opportunities does changing this piece give

    • If I am pleased with the assessment, I will go into the upgrade process. If not, I am throwing it straight into my shop

  • Comparison is the thief of joy
    • This is very much true for most of poe. Not for doing upgrades though
    • Every bigger upgrade session should include a look at other players. Go through poe.ninja and check for similar builds
    • What you are looking for roughly are the following
      • Has any new tech emerged? Generally, some of the top players on your build will do something special. Find out why and if it's accessible within your range of upgrades. And if it does make sense for your version of the build
      • Are there slot efficient mods you should be aiming for. This can be anything really. Flat damage on rings is good because gloves have other good prefixes. Crit chance on amulets is a banger because it's a rare mod for most slots. But this comes down to your build. Find out which mods focus on which slots.
      • Check different support gem setups, different uniques, etc.
      • Try to understand why people are making the choices they are making. This will teach you the most about upgrading and building a char from scratch.

  • Also, don't hesitate to ask the players. Copy the name, whisper them. Ask. Just don't ask the most basic stuff because you are too lazy figuring it out. You do not understand a specific mechanic, combination of items, supports, etc. Ask why they are using it. I have pmed a lot of players and more often than not had a great conversation about build choices and mechanics. Sometimes players make mistakes without realizing them, and you asking for that mechanic might get you both farther by realizing it's a mistake

Final Tip

Using the time machine on builds can be very interesting

This sums up how I am apporaching upgrades on my characters. Anything I missed? Let me know
