Tui na Massage on SCM, I’ve had suboccipital pain for the past two weeks

I had a tui na massage two weeks ago. Going in, I knew it was going to be painful and was prepared for it. He started working on the right side of neck which was easily the most painful part, but it’s also where I typically hold my stress and pain.

My SCM muscle was extremely sore for 5 days on that side, like I couldn’t even move my neck. I got a headache stemming from my suboccipital muscle on the right two days after the massage. It’s been constant ever since and even moved to my left. I’ve had a constant headache for almost two weeks. I’ve had some bouts of dizziness but that’s mostly subsided.

I guess I’m looking for advice on when I should seek medical care or if this is something anyone has dealt with before. I’ve tried heat, stretching, and lots of Advil to no avail. I’ve never had a headache like this before. Not really looking for medical advice.

New cat stalking and ignoring social cues from resident cats

I’m curious if anyone has insight on our situation.

We have two cats. A mom cat and one cat from her only litter. They’re 6 and 5.

I took in a stray from our backyard with the intent to TNR. Quickly learned he is extremely friendly and sociable, not suited for outdoors.

They have interacted back when he was outside just once, through an open window before I knew he was out there.

Neutered him in January. Have been keeping him in the basement with monitored 1st floor time.

He has gingivitis, got a dental cleaning and got 12 teeth removed. He also has mild HCM. About 2-3 years old.

I tried introducing them the Jackson galaxy way. It was difficult, and I’m afraid I rushed it. I did go back to previous steps, try reintroduction, etc, but the results always felt the same. Hissing, growling, batting from my one resident cat. He never showed aggression, hissed, or growled back.

He wants to play. He likes stalking them. He approaches them despite hissing and hitting. He doesn’t understand I don’t think.

The mom cat and him had an incident where he charged at her, she freaked out and ran upstairs. She runs any time I open the basement door. The only time they interacted since then is when I had the stairs blocked off, she jumped over it and joined him on the chair at the window. He was obviously weirded out and removed himself from the situation? And then she hissed at him. It was so weird but I have video lol.

The baby cat and him interact the most. She’s always hissing at him thru the door, the gate, etc. he tries to approach and she hits. I try to intercept, but he’s FAST.

I have feliway. I’m using Jackson galaxys peacemaker (prime day purchase lol desparate)

Has anyone else been in this situation? Advice? I fear I’m attached to him but I do have a couple of trusted and interested adopters.

My fiance is ready for me to give up. I really haven’t seen much progress between all the cats. I feel like I hit a dead end.

For folks who watched real time: was this relationship something that was wanted in the fandom?

First time watching, just finished season 6 so nothing after that please!

Were people thirsting after Rick x Michonne? I felt like it was so sudden and weird and honestly do not like the fact that they’re romantically entangled at this moment. What was the reaction during the original airing? I’m so curious!
