I used to love these and still crave them and it makes me sad you can’t get them anymore 😭
I remember watching one of these videos from a creepy video YouTube playlist many years ago and I was wondering if the content creator ever explained why he made the videos? It depicts a body bag called “daisy” and each video is very creepy. The last video was posted 11 years ago with the caption “Daisy leaves” and since then they never posted a video again. I haven’t gone down a rabbit hole or looked into it as I just assumed I wouldn’t find any answers. If anyone has an idea I would love to know!
Photo I took the of cemetery when I went to Whitby Abbey in July and I love the cemetery and the view of the sea in the background ❤️
I have been given a dexcom to trial as I’m currently using the libre 2 + but I’m fallling out of love with the issues I keep having with it, so my diabetic team have given me a Dexcom one+ to try!
I put the sensor on yesterday and this morning woke up with a low blood sugar which I didn’t get an alarm for, only to see on the app if you have your phone on silent mode or other phone setting similar it won’t go off? I have sleep mode on after 9pm which silences notifications so does this mean I’ll have to stop using sleep mode in order to get the alerts, there are settings on the libre app to override this so I’m not sure if the Dexcom does?
Thanks!
Anyone in the U.K. really struggling with high glucose levels and their insulin not working as efficiently as it should? I’m thinking it because of the temperature my insulin (in use) is at the moment, my room which I keep pens in (short and long acting) is probably getting to way over 30 degrees! Am I best just keeping all my in use insulin in fridge until the temperature cools down! I just don’t want to have to bin insulin before it’s finished as this is a waste, thanks!
How many tries did it take you to do the final Los Carnales mission in saints row 1 - I managed to complete it after like 10 goes and ended up using the car repair cheat, almost made me rage quit 😭
I’ve created a help and support community for all diabetics - this community can help shed light on everyone’s struggles and challenges they face! I’ve only just set it up but please take a look!
Thank you ☺️

🫶🏻Let me know guys 🫶🏻
I’m type 1 not type 2 but I have no idea how to change it 😭 or why it’s even like that! Thanks ☺️
Every time my hypo alarm went off during the night I literally had a handful of skittles like easily more than 10 and for whatever reason my levels didn’t want to go up! And I’ve had my double chocolate mocha this morning and still my levels aren’t budging! What is this madness 😭
I’m at the lowest HbA1c I’ve ever been since being diagnosed back in 2013 🙂 very proud of myself 💪🏻
Hello,
Just put a new sensor on and got pain when applying soon after I could see blood forming in the sensor and then blood coming through the centre of the sensor, I’ve since taken the sensor off as my arm started to feel a bit numb but that might just be me because I’m not good with blood 🙈 there isn’t any active bleeding on the sight now but my hand and little finger still feel slightly numb - has anyone else experienced this - I’ve got no pain on the sight area it’s just my hand and little finger feel numb (little finger now feels a little bit like pins and needles, I have had sensors that have bleed only slightly but this is most I’ve had one bleed before - I’m hoping it’s just my paranoid and lightheaded ness from seeing the blood that’s made my hand feel numb.
FYI - please ignore it saying “type 2” I’m actually type 1 not sure why it’s got that 😐
Had a sight test this morning and it’s always great to hear that my eye health is good! The Optometrists said I should be proud of how well my eye health was and he was showing me images of what eyes would look like if I had any damage due to my diabetes and said yours are perfectly healthy! He said continue managing your diabetes as well as you have! Felt very happy to know my eye health is good! He was surprised when I told him I was diagnosed at 16 back in 2013 🙈 feels like a win 💪🏻
Passed my driving test last week! Went for a test drive in fiat 500 automatic at the car dealership this morning! I learnt in a manual but decided I want to be driving an auto and omg I can’t believe how easy driving an auto is! WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME HOW EASY DRIVING AUTO IS!!! Can’t wait to bring the car home and drive in it again! Didn’t feel stressed whilst test driving like I used to in the manual I learnt in!!
Hello everyone! I recently passed my driving test so will be getting a car soon and then getting on the road! My only concern is sometimes I have super bad lows in the morning! Take this morning for instance I’ve dropped super low and over slept (low blood sugar alarm was what woke me up not my main wake up alarms) with a banging headache!!!
Do you lot still drive in the morning when you’ve woke up with a bad low during the night or do you get a lift or other means of travel? I will be speaking to my diabetic team for advice when I see them in July, but just wanted others in put as I don’t want to put myself in dangerous situations by driving after recovering from a bad low! Thank you everyone!
Ahhh I can’t believe it! This was my third time and I’m so glad it’s done and dusted, was honestly contemplating whether to give it up if I was to fail again! Best advice I can give to you is keep on at it, and don’t let the fails deter you from wanting to try again! YOU GOT THIS PEOPLE ❤️
Just wanted everyone to see how cute these stickers are that I’ve got for my libre sensors! Because we should be able to feel cute wearing sensors! #Type1
