Does anyone know if stand alone admissions will happen this year? Since this year phase 3 also happened?

Does anyone in this sub has studied in this college or the current students. Can you tell if a standalone admissions happen in this college? like did it happen in the 2025 session? The students who are currently studying. Do you know anything about this or have any idea?

I am actually from North Bengal and I quite don't know what is happening with the colleges under Calcutta University but today I sat down for phase 3 admission and saw that many seats are left in Surendranath and Ashutosh. Weren't this primere institutions?like is something going on with this colleges there are so many seats left and I might have chances in these.

Anybody who is studying in these colleges can you tell me what is the current scenario in these colleges?

What do you guys think will the cut off drop in 3rd or 4th round? since neet counselling schedule has also been out so maybe the neet students will leave the seats?or I am just being delulu?😔

Has any West Bengal resident's domicile certificate been rejected from the university? Because my one got rejected and I even uploaded the valid domicile certificate approved by the BDO and SDO and they did not even write the rejection reason.

After downloading my choices, in the PDF it is showing that my status is not locked how do we lock the preference?

For someone with no domicile certificate what are you all uploading? Should I just upload the application acknowledgement?

Does character certificate also have any validity because I passed my class 12 in 2025 so should I upload the one which was given by my school?

First of all congratulations to everyone who are getting GMC's this year. Your hardwork and efforts finally paid off.

A little bit about me. I am scoring 454 this year and am a fresher. So in my preparation I have come to terms with it that I don't wanna do MBBS anymore since I have been seeing medical graduates or students telling that it's not worth it to be a first gen doctor and my parents never forced me into this. I came to this hellhole myself. So lost momentum in the last phase of my preparation.

I was finally moving on and was going to do bsc but now I am confused.

I mean even government jobs have high competition and I am general on top of that. So iv I fail to bag a government job I'll be just a bsc grad. But after MBBS atleast I'll be a doctor and will probably get job as a medical officer right?

So should I take drop and prepare for one last time?

Medical graduates or who are studying in MBBS or people who are in this dilemma as well, can you please share your honest opinions and advices please? I will be forever grateful
