Good case brands?

Hello! Obviously the Pixel 6 is getting on a bit in years, there's been 4 generations now since it came out, but I'm still rocking mine for the next 3 years minimum, I wanna get 7 out of it. I've ALWAYS used Otterbox Defender cases on my phones, I swear by them. They feel much better than the cheapo shit you find on Amazon, and my phone is still in great shape after 4 years of drops and manhandling. Unfortunately, on the Pixel 6 cases they have a design flaw that never really got rectified: the charging port cover breaks off really easily. On top of that, the rubber just gets loose over time. So I've been replacing the case on my phone pretty regularly over the course of its life, and it seems now that Otterbox has stopped producing cases for this model. I had to replace the case recently, and to get an Otterbox I had to hunt it down on eBay and import it from Canada (I'm in the U.S.). I can't continue to do that into the foreseeable future, so it looks like I'll have to switch to another case manufacturer.

So I ask, what are the good ones that still make cases for the Pixel 6 (or still have decent stock left)? I really don't want to resort to a cheapo Amazon Special, those tend to look and feel awful.

Please help me make sense of these SYSCON errors

My PS3 (first-gen slim, CECH-2001A) recently decided to kick the bucket and I figured I'd take a crack at reading the SYSCON and trying to fix it. Long story short I tore the sorry thing down, bodged on some jumper wires to the test points, and was able to read the codes with some fiddling. I'm getting the same 5 errors mostly:

14FF

2024

2124

3020

3033

Of course I read up on those codes on PSDevWiki, and I saw that 14FF in combination with 2024/2124 (also 3034 but I'm getting the code right before that, 3033) usually indicates a GPU issue, but I'm not at all confident in any diagnosis I make from this. Can someone please help me interpret this info?

EDIT: oh, and also, someone has TOTALLY been in here before. It was missing a security screw on the outside and there was a TON of electrical tape on the Blu-Ray Drive.

Series Icon tier list (my opinion)

EDIT: In retrospect I should have put Xenoblade in "I don't know enough" tier lol, y'all hate my placement of that.

Detailed opinions on the bottom 4 and my ideas on how to change them:

Final Fantasy: If we had representation from more of the series, I'd have put this one in "boring" tier since it's just initials, but since literally everything FF-related in this game is from 7, why not make the "series" icon the meteor from the FF7 logo? It'd be much more visually interesting than "FF" and it'd be all-encompassing to what's actually in the game.

Persona: I have the exact opposite problem from FF with this one, we do have stuff from games other than P5 in Smash (a couple songs basically, not even so much as a spirit, but hey one of those songs is a remix so...), but the series icon is the Phantom Thieves logo, which is a P5 specific thing. I'd make the series icon a butterfly, as that's a common recurring visual motif (character arguably) in all 5 (6? P2 is weird) games.

F-Zero: The existing icon is Captain Falcon's insignia on his helmet and I think the Blue Falcon. It makes some sense given the only playable fighter is Captain Falcon, but there's various spirits and other things (also trophies in previous games) that aren't Falcon himself. I feel perhaps the series initials "FZ" with the lightning bolt from the logo inbetween the two letters would better represent the series and other characters as a whole. I know I criticized Final Fantasy, DK, and Street Fighter for this exact design but I feel like the SNES title screen font and the lightning bolt would be visually interesting and distinct enough to make it work.

Wario: There aren't even 2 letters here, it's just one. Imagine if the Mario series icon was just the M on Mario's cap instead of the mushroom. Recognizable I guess but the lamest solution possible. The issue with Wario is that there are 2 primary series to pull from: Wario Land and WarioWare. WarioWare is the newer and more active of the two, and a common visual motif between a lot of the games is Wario's nose and mustache. Given it's literally part of his face I would also argue it represents Wario as a whole, even if it's being pulled from WarioWare, and given how hilariously narcissistic Wario is it'd fit him like a glove. Also his nose looks kinda like a garlic bulb.

What's with this squeaking coming from the UMD drive?

It sounds awful, and is obvious cause for concern for whatever disc I have in there (I would have much preferred to use a less rare and expensive game to demonstrate this but the only other UMD I own is Namco Museum Battle Collection and that game doesn't load from the UMD often enough to cause this issue). Thankfully it doesn't seem to be scratching up my discs, at least for now, but I would obviously like to fix this both for peace of mind and because it's annoying. I get the feeling the spindle is slipping. I have a spare PSP-2000 I can pull parts from but idk if the disc mechanism is the same between that and this PSP-3000.

any advice is appreciated!
