Feel free to skip Supergirl
Had literally none of the fun or world/character building stuff I loved in Superman (2025). Feels like a James Gunn inspired movie within the boundaries of DC 10 years ago. Very weird.

One Wish Willows company
I doubt that the filmmakers had any idea in mind for what the One Wish Willows company is supposed to represent, but does anyone here have ideas? I also wonder if there’s any reason that it’s purchased from a crystal shop.
Maybe i’m just trying too hard to read into every detail but I would love to hear people’s interpretations!

For anyone who’s put off by Castration Movies runtime I would say this would be a good “test” to see if you’ll like that style. It’s less than an hour!
The only thing I felt “lacking” from this was the long takes that make up most of Castration Movie, but it is definitely lighter and more comedic.
(It’s on Criterion Channel btw)
If anyone has similar recommendations for me I would love to hear them.
