Visual Merchandising with corflutes

Hey Design

I work at an event and I need to display corflutes each day with a changing schedule. I'm having trouble finding the right hardware that will attached to a piece of corflute, that will mean I can swap out smaller pieces with the times.

I was at the shops the other day and saw this, which is essentially what I'm after, but I cant find the right product, and googling keywords isnt really helping. It seems really easy!

Does anyone know what the plastic strip that allows these daily specials to be swapped out is called?

Is it just me or did the Reddit app update the leading and it's a little too tight?

Like, I just want to make it a few clicks looser.

If they made a sequel, what do you think it would've been? (Spoilers!)

Obviously this post will contain spoilers.

Do you think this is a Bioshock 2 situation, where you start as a Typhon and upgrade your human skills and the twist is you're actually a human?

Help formatting bullet points

For years, and I mean years, I've been lazily formatting my bullet points. Can anyone help me figure out the correct way to apply paragraph styles so can .025% more efficient?

The way I have taken is as follows:

Each bullet point has a 0.25mm Space After applied. The last bullet point has 2mm applied. So each list I have to apply a paragraph style, and then a separate paragraph style to the last line.

Is there a more efficient way of handling this?

Adobe, I am IMPLORING you to get your AI under control on Stock.

I am so incredibly sick of downloading something completely unusable. I just download an illustration where each element was an embedded low res jpg of an AI image. Completely unusable in every sense of the word. I have 'exclude Generative AI' ticked but it's so completely rife.

Please give us a way to report the shite!

Help me find a label!

I saw a guy walking and his pants looked awesome.

They wrote a navy blue and had a bright orange square on the right back pocket, like fluro orange. I don't think they were Hugo Boss Orange. Slightly baggier fit.

Does this ring a bell? Felt like the orange label was a branding choice.

Charity shaping AI copyright rules funded by Anthropic-linked donors

In AI news that surprises no-one...

>A charity helping shape Australia’s approach to artificial intelligence and copyright has received more than $1 million from philanthropic funds with personal and financial ties to Anthropic, an AI giant that would benefit directly from the organisation’s proposal.

What little tricks do you use to improve your InDesign workflow?

In the spirit of helping users who might be struggling to love InDesign, what little tricks do you use to improve your every day experience of this beautiful little program?

I have been using a couple of keyboard shortcuts since my early days of designing:

Transform again: sometimes I'll need to repeat a process across many objects, so making this shortcut easier helps speed me up

Reveal in finder: anyone who has designed reports or catalogues knows you need to go to an image quickly.

Customise your pallet layout and save it.

Learn about grid systems!! If your design isn't working it's usually because your just clicking and moving shit around randomly. Set up margins and guides. Everything clicks into place much quicker.

Which 90s or 2000s album cover art was so incredibly bizarre or low-effort that you can't believe a major label approved it?

Personally Chumbawamba is a big ol pile of WTF.

Lately I've been downloading some incredibly low effort stock vectors on Adobe Stock, stuff that should be reported. Things that are definitely generative AI that are labelled as not. Vectors that might be vectors but completely unusable. There just doesn't seem to be any mechanism to actually report this stuff though. This kind of crap will flood Adobe.
