Drove from Tucson and first stopped in Phoenix to chat with the boys at Cigars Daily. Picked up a few select bangers, then continued on to Jerome, AZ for our rental and million dollar view. This is an old mining town haunted by the ghosts of dead miners. Hope they like smoke 💨💨💨
These are abandoned, and sold in large bulk packs to retail stores, so it’s really difficult to nail down exactly what this stick is called. All I can tell you, is that you’re in for a ride. DBL never disappoints with a woody, baking spice heavy experience
What a tremendous offering from DBL. The foot had a surprisingly mouthwatering scent of cinnamon and cedar. This packs that DBL punch with baking spice, wood, leather, and earth. What a treat at $5
The blender of the CAO flathead comes in hot with this absolute beast of a stick. Probably one of the most enjoyable smokes I’ve had in a long time, and it’s not for the uninitiated. Grabbed it at a brand new local lounge in Tucson, and had to take another one with me for the humidor. At around $10 per USD from direct mail order, and about $11 to $13 at a lounge, you get a roughly $20 experience. Can’t recommend this stick enough, and I can’t wait to continue working my way through the line.

What a moment. Truly elegant cigar with a restrained refinement that speaks to an older, more focused approach to a blend. The wrap is one of the most luxurious mouthfeel moments I have had in the last decade. Everything about this lands for me. The presentation, packaging, art, time spent just unwrapping it, the cold draw, retrohale, all were an experience
Don’t go in expecting to be punched in the face with flavor. Think of more of a middle of the road Davidoff, or something super refined from AJ Fernandez

Sitting on my back patio taking in the absolute stillness and quiet of the morning. My first puff at 4:30 AM, and not even the birds are awake. The best time to do some thinking and planning, before the noise of the day begins. Happy Mother’s Day to all your wives and mothers!
Went to my local cigar shop Frank’s in Tucson, and whenever Frank is there, we always talk shop. I already had a 20th anniversary sun grown on the counter, and he asked if I had tried the Fresco. Of course I was intrigued, because Perdomo is in my top 10 brands. He threw me one on the house and I have to say, for a $6.50 stick, not bad at all

I would wager that this is my seventh out of a box of 20, and I gave away about three to friends, so I have about 10 of these left. These are by far one of my favorite, inexpensive and consistent cigars. The fermentation on these leaves is just perfection. I love Dominican cigars and these are definitely in my top five
Found at a local Goodwill for 1/60th of its value. I have been thrifting and collecting mid mod for 16 years, and have been all over the United States, I have never found one of these in the wild. Someone donated three, but the other two were much newer, one being brass and the other being a beat up 90s rendition. This one needed a bit of TLC, but with the original casters and the bottom shelf being 100% intact, I couldn’t leave it. This will now be the main serving cart for my periodic Cigar Club meet up.
After this, I’m down to my last two on the 10 pack I purchased from Atlantic Cigar company. I think next I’m going to get their trio sampler that includes the pledge and the new wave. What a smoke.
