[A4A] Slice of Life but dramatic!

Hello everyone! My name is Rachel, I'm a 29 year old female from the United States.

I've been roleplaying for 15 years, so I am literate and typically reply with a few paragraphs, though I can do more or less depending on the scene. I do ask that my partner has good grammar, though typos are of course okay! I also would like someone who moves the plot forward with me. Quality over quantity!

I'm looking for someone 18+, preferably 22+. Male or female doesn't matter much to me, and I play both male and female characters myself. Typically MxF or MxM pairings.

I usually like fantasy roleplay but lately, I've had an itch for something contemporary. That being said, I still love drama and angst and tension, so it won't be all fluff or anything like that.

If you message me, please say more than "let's rp." Give me some info about you, what you like in a roleplay, your activity level, etc etc.

I'll keep this pretty short and sweet. Message me if you have any questions. Happy writing!

Day 6, new to this, and want to die

The rhyme in the title is unintentional and I do not actually feel that whimsical about it.

I know six days to so many of you is probably really short, but this is completely new for me and I want to peel my skin off with a cheese grater.

I feel like I've tried so much. Went to urgent care, got prednisone and pepcid as well as taking two Claritin a day. Went to the doc, got the prednisone shot which helped for a day, then they broke through again. Waiting on an allergist referral.

Every morning and every evening, the hives seem to come back. It started everywhere along with a lot of swelling, which went down. Lately, it's my arms and legs the worst.

I take cool baths in baking soda. I try to keep my stress levels low. I've tried figuring out if there's anything I'm eating or doing every time they come back and I can't find anything.

What more can I do? Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Anyone quit when it wasn't their choice to?

My husband and I have smoked together our whole relationship but he wants to quit for good and said that if I don't as well, our marriage will end because he believes weed has made us too apathetic and disconnected.

I agree I was using it too often, but to quit forever feels so daunting. Has anyone experienced something like this?

[A4A] Female writer (playing any gender) seeking other female writers

Hi all! I hope everyone is having a lovely day.

I have nothing against male writers, I just have always clicked better with other women.

As it says above, I am female. I'm 29 years old from the US with a very flexible work schedule so I am often active and communicative. I have been writing for over fifteen years so I have good grammar and my posts are usually 3+ paragraphs, though I care more about quality than quantity.

I prefer to write in fantasy spaces, modern day slice of life has never tickled my fancy. I play both male and female, typically in MxF and MxM relationships. Yes, that means I do want romance! However, I like having more plot going on than just that as well.

At the moment, I don't have any specific ideas. I do tend to lean more toward low fantasy, mages and demons and such, rather than high fantasy like elves and orcs. I love to brainstorm and would like a partner who is as energetic as I am when it comes to that.

I'll keep this short and sweet. If you're interested, shoot me a message! I write on Discord, strictly third person past tense.

Happy writing!
