I know "black cars get dirtier easier." But let me give some examples of what I'm dealing with. 2 days after I clean it at the self-use power-wash stations: I'm at work, parked next to *other black cars*, it rains a little, All the other cars looks fine/normal. But mine is Immediately as bad as it could possibly be.

Not only that, I'll park on the road, and the mist from the water of my neighbor's sprinklers that don't even reach my car hit it, and in the morning it's also completely speckled.

And it's not just water problems, I'll park in the garage next to my sister's black car, and after a few days, my car is coated in dust. And her's looks totally clean. And all she does is take it through a car wash every week.

I got this car just a few months ago, and when I got it the paint was pretty faded, like it's just been siting in the sun for a year. So I spent like $200 on beauty products, and 5 hours of labor fixing it:

"Clean slate" surface cleanser wash.

Clay bar.

Meguiar's ultimate compound.

Meguiar's polish

Meguiar's wax

I love the car(c6 corvette), but it's so sad walking out to it and it looking like the owner doesn't take car of it, like it's been rotting in a barn for years. Not to mention how annoying it is when everyone else assumes I never even wash it. Seeing words and such drawn in the dust when I see it.

*TLDR:*

is there some kind of "anti-water" and/or "anti-dust" wax you'd recommend? Or some way I could apply it without it building static electricity all throughout it? Or some way to get rid of the static?

I'm not tryna buy some $200 buffer just to use it once, I already have a bunch of microfiber cloths.

Yo, wouldn't it be cool if there was a setting that moved your camera to where you're steering?

Janky on my joystick, but using auto-drive to show kinda what I mean.

Like, I love this car irl. But it's just worse for racing compared to most S1s I'd go against; for any race type. And especially so when people only use the meta for races. What cars do you all wish stood a chance so you could actually use them?
