I finally got enough money from contracts to be able to buy the latest John Deere 6M tractor that was added in the recent free content update. I had already got the John Deere baler a while back but this was the big one for me. I am very excited to add this to my fleet of John Deere tractors. I started with the 3650, then added the 7810, and no, this tractor does not replace either of those. I am gathering equipment as I gear up for a big dairy cattle operation so next up is mixer wagon, straw blower and milk tanker. I want all equipment and farm land in place before I build the big dairy barn. So this is great because the 3650 can run the mixer while this one loads in the ingredients. And with the CVT transmission, I think it will make a better farm chore tractor than the 3650 does. I am so excited for this yall. I've been wanting this tractor since it got released. It feels so good to see my farm grow as I work hard and put in the time. Oh and the best part, getting this was a great way to celebrate America's 250th birth day on this great 4th of July.....this along side date night with my wife and grilling out with my family. :D couldn't have been a better day.

So i just recently bought a 737-800 for 4.4M shouldnt this have check the box for having 3M in the bank? Is anyone else having this problem?

Decided to pick up one of the bigger harvesting contracts with my puny little MF8570 and 6m header. The field is over 13acres. Normally I only do little 1.5 to 2 acre fields with this so here goes. I know it won't take terribly long, but I'm still gonna be at it for a while. Thank goodness for a hot cup of black coffee. Gonna be a late night and early morning. LOL

I mean seriously. These AI cars just love to scam their insurance companies! I even had slowed down and stopped for an on coming car to turn left in front of me as I predicted it would. Then this guy came out of nowhere. Am I going to be the one who has to go pee in a cup now? This is ridiculous.

I don't really use the MB pack DLC much. I got it cause I could and it was kind of neat to add to my arsenal of options. but then this popped up this morning on a contract and I thought meh.......sure why not? It does have the working backup camera which is a nice touch. I hooked this up in 1st person view easily so that's cool. But maybe I'm too American.......the thing I don't get is why are we using a semi tractor as a farm tractor? I'm not seeing the purpose here.

I love this setup! I downloaded the smaller John Deere combine that got ported over from FS22. I got it over 100 hours after starting this save. I had planned on switching out that Massey combine after a while. But now that i am looking at this photo as I post it.... I'm like naaahhhh maybe I keep the good old MF8570 for a while. That JD7810 is great for pulling that wagon too!

What have y'all been up to? I don't even have a small pond in this pasture! These cows are such trouble makers! 😄

.....You gave me this equipment for this contract and it's tearing up your field making new tramlines for you. What you want me to do? Levitate your tractor with magnets? It is what it is...you're getting what you paid for. Hey, it's another 3 grand in my pocket so no skin off my back. I just hope your happy I got all your weeds.

Hey guys. So I am trying to get into using SimDash for FS25. I haven't' messed with it a whole lot until I finally broke down and got a tablet and stand for it. (I experimented with my phone a bit before I decided it was worth the investment.) but I've noticed the cardinal directions it gives me on simdash is opposite of ingame in the North-South orientations. East-West is fine. But I am not sure was is causing this or how to fix it. It's kind of annoying and while it does not completely bork SimDash for me, it's one of those things that really takes away from the illusional "imersion" that us so called "realism" players are looking for. If any one has some suggestions please send them my way.

I've noticed I have started paying more attention to more decorative details and how things are layed out instead of just placing stuff where ever and making it work. I also noticed when I got the warning for the drought coming up, I didnt even bat an eye. I know I'm good. It's nice to be able to not have to think or worry about stuff any more. LOL

Now that I have the dynomite and tunnels unlocked. I was able to build this epic array of four large storage rooms into the side of this mountain. I think it turned out pretty great on the bottom is carrots and sunflower seeds (currently working on expanding the sunflower fields! ) and then the two on top are wheat and bread. Beaveers are gonna be busy getting that all filled up!

Just out here using a weeder I bought recently to help out a neighboring farmer. Ya know.....just minding my own business. And I turned around to watch where I was backing up and I said ... hold up! wait a minute.. Somethin aint right! My weeder is borked. LOL Nah it's just leveling itself! See all my fields over by my main farm are all flat. But not here. I learned something new today. yay me!

The customer is never gonna know right? It's fine. It's gonna be fine I'm sure. It's gotta be.

.......because, when one is in your way, you need to move. Twice, I've worked my self into a spot where my own bales were in my way and now this. I have the unload bales early mod and my uncoordinated self dumbthumbed the Y button while I was rolling. So I backed up to get what I missed without realizing there was a bale behind me cause my dumb butt dropped one too soon. I play in 1st person only so that's why I didn't see it. They say you can always just back up until you feel something....well I felt something. At This point I might as well go get my spikes to move this thing and do it right. Oh the frustrations of being a virtual farmer......am I right? LOL

So with the recent update that includes some new equipment, I decided it was time for me to make the upgrade for my baler. See, I have become quite the fan of John Deere equipment in FS and really honestly, it's no help that my dad used to work for a couple dealers as a kid and then ultimately for JD themselves. So I'm kind of brand loyal at this point, I think it's fair to say. I will also be looking to add the John Deere 6M 105 to my fleet as well. I also have the John Deere T560 Combine that comes complete with both a grain and mathcing corn header that Giants ported over from FS22. So when money allows, I will be looking to trade in my Masey harvester as soon as I can. LOL Oddly enough though, I don't think I ever really ran the T560 back in FS22. I started over a LOT and always went for the Rostalmash Nova when starting up new farms. So we shall see how this goes.
