iOS 26.6.1 stuck on “Update Requested” — iPhone 11 Pro Max

My iPhone 11 Pro Max is stuck on “Update Requested…” while trying to install iOS 26.6.1.

It has been sitting on this screen for a while and isn’t moving to the download/install stage. I’m currently on Wi-Fi and have enough battery/storage.

I’ve already turned Beta Updates OFF, so I’m not trying to install a beta version.

Has anyone else faced this with iOS 26.6.1? Is this just Apple’s update servers being overloaded, or is there something I should try on my device?

Device: iPhone 11 Pro Max
Update: iOS 26.6.1
Status: “Update Requested…” indefinitely

Instagram still doesn’t have Liquid Glass for me, while other apps already do

I’m on the latest version of Instagram, but I still don’t have the Liquid Glass UI, especially the bottom navigation bar.

WhatsApp, Threads, Telegram, Signal and other apps already have the Liquid Glass redesign on my iPhone, but Instagram is still using the old navigation bar.

Is Instagram’s Liquid Glass update still being rolled out gradually/server-side? Or is there something I’m missing?

Jio limits hotspot, Airtel caps “unlimited” data… what’s next?

Why are Jio and Airtel charging more while offering less?

Jio and Airtel keep increasing prices, but the user experience doesn’t seem to improve much Jio now restricts unlimited 5G hotspot, so you can’t freely share your 5G data anymore. Airtel advertises “unlimited” data but quietly applies a 300 GB/month cap on 5G usage.

If I’m paying more every year, shouldn’t I be getting fewer restrictions instead of more?

Network quality is still inconsistent in many places, customer support hasn’t improved much, and now even the “unlimited” plans come with conditions.

At this point, it feels like we’re paying premium prices for more limitations, not better service.

Is anyone else frustrated by this, or am I expecting too much?

Unlimited doesn’t mean unlimited anymore. Telecom companies have mastered the art of charging more while giving less.

iPhone app icons look blurry after switching from Dark Icons to Default Icons – bug or normal?

I’ve been using Dark Icons on my iPhone for several months. Today I switched back to the default icon style, and now app icons on both the Home Screen and App Library look slightly blurry/soft.

The strange thing is that text, notification badges, and the rest of the UI are perfectly sharp. Only the app icons seem affected.

I’ve already tried:

  • Restarting the iPhone
  • Switching between Dark, Tinted, and Default icons
  • Checking that it happens on both the Home Screen and App Library

Is this a known iOS bug, an icon cache/rendering issue, or is this considered normal?

ad blocking on web

I'm using the web version of YouTube Music on iOS.

Brave Browser does a great job blocking ads for me—I haven't seen any ads at all. The problem is that the experience doesn't feel as smooth as it does on Safari. Sometimes playback, responsiveness, or general performance just feels better in Safari.

I've already tried a few settings and extensions, but I haven't found a solution yet.

Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any Brave settings, flags, or tweaks that can make YouTube Music run more smoothly on iOS?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

im confused between this 2 laptop asus has 16gb of ram and apple have only 8gb ram and my requirements power points and new ai features im student in london university as a apple hardcore fan i cant ignore the mac neo aswl but ig 8gb ram in 2026 is hard but apple’s 8gb ram are better than 16gb ram i don’t know the reason ppl say asus only win in storage..!!
