Geneva airport - liquids

Hello,

Today in the evening I’m having a European flight from Geneva airport and have quite a few liquids (all under 100ml, but in total for sure more than officially allowed 1 litre). How strict are they in Geneva airport, do I need to take liquids out during the security control? Thanks!

3 weeks in - not losing weight

I started my Mounjaro journey (1mg/week) 3 weeks ago and I feel great - it took away the food noise, apetite for sweets and gave me a mental clarity. I want to lose around 5kg - in the past I suffered from binge eating and even though I thought it’s no longer the case, being on this drug really showed me how much I’m using food to regulate my emotions. I focus on healthy lifestyle, 120g protein/day, drinking water, taking vitamins etc. I’m eating much more proteins than before and less food in general. I also exercise few times a week. Result - I’m not losing (almost) any weight. After first week, I lost 0,25kg, then another 0,3kg, and today I went back to only -0,2kg. Did anyone has similar experience? I don’t want to increase the dose as I feel great and barely have any side effects. I think I would need to count calories, which I truly hate… my boyfriend says it’s all because of those protein processed yoghurts/drinks/bars, but otherwise how I would get so much proteins? Feels impossible to me. Thanks a lot for your inputs!

Peptide lip boost - difference between sugarmint and unscented?

Hi, I read different opinions on that - is the only difference really only the smell?

I chose the unscented as I don’t like the tingling sensation on the lips, but then I read that Sugarmint is more pink/pigmented on the lips?

Thank you!

Cream wide-leg jeans - keep or return? (crotch wrinkling question)

Just got these cream/ecru wide-leg jeans and I'm torn. They fit well at the waist, length is good, but there's noticeable wrinkling/creasing around the crotch area (see pics). Is this just normal stiff raw denim behavior that'll smooth out with wear and washing, or is it a sign they don't fit right?

A bit of context: I've lost some weight recently and I'm planning to lose a bit more, so I'm wondering if that's contributing to the fit/wrinkling, or if it's more about the denim being new and stiff. Really don't want to return them if it's just a break-in thing, because I love the color and the fit everywhere else.

Anyone dealt with this on similar high-waisted wide-leg denim? Does it get better after a few wears?

Hair shedding with a bit of skin/blood on the root - anyone else?

Hello,

For the past few days I’ve noticed some hair shedding that seems a little different than usual - occasionally there’s a tiny bit of blood or skin on the root when a strand comes out. I’ve also recently started using a hair growth booster serum, possibly a bit more often than recommended, so not sure if that’s a factor.

I’m also on a GLP-1 medication (2 weeks in), though I’ve only lost 0.55 kg so far and I’m keeping protein and calories up (100g+ protein, 1800+ kcal), so I don’t think it’s related to rapid weight loss or nutrient deficiency.

Has anyone experienced something similar on a GLP-1? Or does this sound more like a reaction to a hair product?

To be clear - no other symptoms, hair loss amount seems normal overall, nothing hurts or itches, and the blood/skin bit is minimal, not constant. Just curious if others have noticed something similar before I chase it down further. Thanks for any input!

Second week and the 1mg doesn’t work that well anymore - should I increase the dose?

Hi,

So the first week after 1mg of Mounjaro was great - almost complete apetite suppression, mental clarity, also insomnia and thirst as side effects. I lost around 0,55lbs after the first week (I have healthy BMI and want to loose around 10-12 lbs in total). Around day 5. apetite was back, and in the second week of 1mg the hunger and food noise are much bigger. Not that strong as before Mounjaro, but I don’t find it so effective anymore. Should I increase the dosage or just wait? I know that the drug builds up in your body. Curious to hear your experiences. Thank you!

-0,25kg/0,55lbs after first week of microdosing

From one side I want to lose weight as slow as possible (I want to lose only about 6kg), from the other side I’m a bit disappointed, as Mounjaro really suppressed my appetite during the first week (1mg). How was it in your case? Did you lose more weight per week after microdosing for a longer time, or the opposite? For now I’m planning to say on 1mg (great results and no side effects). Thanks!

When did it kick in?

Hello everyone,

This morning (about 9 hours ago), I took my very first dose of Mounjaro/tirzepatide - 1 mg. I decided to try microdosing since I only have around 6–7 kg (13–15 lbs) to lose.

It’s still too early to tell if anything has changed. After the injection, I had a light breakfast, and a few hours later I got really hungry (probably because I went for a morning run). I ended up having a big lunch with a friend, including dessert. So far, I haven’t noticed any appetite suppression at all.
That said, I know it’s very early, so I’m not jumping to any conclusions yet.

What was your experience like? When did you first feel it kick in? I know everyone responds differently, but I’m curious to hear your stories. Thank you!

I feel like I've spent my whole life chasing the same 5–6 kg - anyone in similar situation and tried Mounjaro?

I'm 165 cm (5'5") and weigh around 65 kg (143 lbs), so I'm not overweight. My dream weight has always been around 58–59 kg (128–130 lbs). It's only a few kilograms, but I've been trying to lose them for most of my life.

I've struggled with eating disorders since I was 14, including binge eating. I've been in therapy, and thankfully, I no longer binge eat. However, I still feel like I naturally have a big appetite and stronger cravings than most people.

I exercise regularly, eat relatively healthy, and I've even run marathons. I also have PCOS, although I do not have insulin resistance.

My weight has been the same for years. It doesn't go up, but it also doesn't go down. It feels like it's cemented in place.

Part of this is aesthetic. I've always had a round, fuller face and a double chin, and I think I would feel better and more comfortable in my body if I lost a few kilograms. But it's also functional. As a runner, I would love to feel lighter and potentially run faster.

I also constantly feel like I'm not the best version of myself. It's hard to explain, but I have this persistent feeling that there is a slightly leaner version of me that I haven't been able to reach, despite years of effort.

I've managed to lose the weight a few times in my life, and it always came back quickly. It almost felt like it happened overnight.

I've decided to try Mounjaro, but I'm scared. I'm afraid the same thing will happen again once I stop taking the medication. I also feel like this is my "last attempt." If this doesn't work, I may have to accept that my body simply wants to be around 65 kg.

Has anyone been in a similar situation - normal BMI, PCOS without insulin resistance, history of binge eating that is now in remission, naturally big appetite, active lifestyle, and a weight that just won't budge? And if you've taken Mounjaro, what happened after you stopped?
