Question: Why can’t Kenya learn from other countries while creating its own unique identity?
Japan’s concept of “Wa” (social harmony) teaches respect, cleanliness, discipline, and consideration for others. Japan and Korea also have strong cultures of health, wellness, self-care, balanced lifestyles, and personal discipline.
Many Middle Eastern countries value modest, elegant, and polished dressing in public. Kenya does not need to copy these cultures, but we can learn from the values behind them and combine them with our own African traditions, fashion, and identity.
Could Kenya promote:
More social harmony and respect in public spaces
Healthier lifestyles and wellness habits
Good grooming and self-care
Modest, confident, and polished African dressing
Cleaner and more organised communities
Why can’t we take the best ideas from around the world and create a stronger, healthier, more respectful Kenyan identity?
