Why was the defendant allowed so many visits?

Her sister was visiting her every day, as were her parents, the lawyers, doctors, psychologists, priests, and even her friend. If you are waiting for a trial, is it normal to have so many visitors, or is it because she is so special?

Profiler on Evidence of Lies & Fabrications of Psychosis by Lindsay Clan...

Have you watched this lady? Makes so much sense that she had a personality disorder rather than psychosis.

Jasmin

I liked Jasmin and still like her, but she is manipulating Priya into fighting her battles, and how people cannot see this pattern is crazy to me. She did it in Casa, and she is doing it now with Julia. She knows that Julia has the public backing because Lorenzo and Julia were voted favourite boy and a girl or a couple, don't remember. So, she doesn't fight her directly so as not to upset the public. But pretends that she backs Priya (she doesn't give a shot about Priya); she pretends she supports their couple and goes and defends her in a conversation with Julia. Doesn't discuss with Julia the concerns Julia raised about her and bringing Jordon back by making Priya couple up with him. No, she doesn't answer anything back because she knows that if she continues this topic, Julia will bury her with facts, backed by the Movie night video. So, she ignores what Julia says about her, but baits Julia to say something about Priya, so she can go to Priya with it, knowing that Priya is a hothead and will argue with Julia. In that way she has achieved everything she wanted (to upset Julia and make her argue and look bad in front of the Islanders and the public). And still looks squeaky clean as if she is very level-headed, doesn't argue, is kind to everyone (by saying I like Julia, just sometimes is very opinionated). Priya is her muppet. And she is the master, an exceptionally good one, hands up. When the text came that there would be a game where everyone can say what they think, she said to Priya: this is good now, because you can say your piece. And Priya, who always wants to impress Jasmin, so she continues to be her friend, bites the bait, of course. Priya even said to Julia: with your opinions, you are hurting the people in this house who love me and care for me. Proper delusion. How many times has Jasmin said to Kav: we look tea?! She does, to be fair; she is an incredibly beautiful woman, no wonder she can get away with so much.

Am I the only one who thinks that Priya is so desparate.

Her behaviour throughout this series has been wild. She thinks she is God’s gift to man. How she stays close and listens to every conversation, making everyone shhhhosh so she can eavesdrop on personal conversations, is so cringe. She doesn't like Aiden. She is just so desperate to get to the final that she isn’t even intelligent enough not to say it. She said to Aiden, “Who do you want to get to the final with? She is so delusonal about her own worth, and this is bamboozeled why noone likes her. I don't say this lightly, but she has narcissistic tendencies. This Aidian couple is a couple of convenience, and Julia and Elicia were so right about it. She is such an unlikeable person; how can anyone vote for her? The way she also treated Eithan, you can see she didn't like it, but was so proud and acting like “Of course he likes me, I am so hot,” and she kept on entertaining it to make Aiden jealous. Yack personality. But why is no one saying this? I can’t be the only one seeing the pattern.

Would you cancel your 8-year-old’s sleepover after the other child asked to invite someone else instead?

My son is 8 and has a boy in his class who can be nice to him, but also quite rude/unfriendly at times. They were meant to have a sleepover today at the other boy’s house.

Before the sleepover, a few things happened while we were all together with the other mum and another parent/child.

First, the boy threw my son’s magnet into long grass and my son couldn’t find it. My son got upset and said this boy often throws his things in the bin or somewhere he can’t find them.

Then the boy was riding my son’s bike. My son asked a few times to have his bike back, but the boy kept brushing him off and saying “in 10 minutes.” My son came to me upset. The other mum told her son to give the bike back, and he left it by the wall, so my son got it back.

Then, in front of people, the boy asked his mum if another child could come for the sleepover instead of my son.

Unfortunately, this was where I was supposed to go another way, and my kids were supposed to continue with them to their house.

At that point, I decided my son was not going to the sleepover. I told my son he was coming home with me. He cried and was really upset, asking why and begging me to go so I had to be firm and say no and why I say no, but I didn’t feel comfortable sending him to a sleepover after he had just been rejected like that by the child hosting him.

The other mum later messaged saying she was disappointed with how it was handled and felt her son had been singled out/humiliated, although she also said she was dealing with his behaviour at home. Another mum also messaged saying she felt awkward and that it could have been handled differently.

I understand it was awkward and upsetting for everyone. But I also feel there was no calm or easy way to cancel the sleepover once that comment had been made publicly, and I didn’t want to teach my son to ignore being hurt just to keep everyone else comfortable.

Would you have still let your child go to the sleepover? Or would you have cancelled it too?

I’m especially interested in what other UK parents would think, because this is a school/class friendship situation and I don’t want unnecessary drama, but I also want to protect my child’s feelings and boundaries.

I’ve arrived message

I have to first just get it out In the open - I hate Uber Eats and Uber in general with passion. There is many reasons why obviously, but the number 1 reason for me is when the taxi or the delivery man, who is 2 minutes away from my location but is sending me a message I’ve arrived. Well great smart ass, why are you sending me a message and not ringing the intercom? After that message I get:

A….. has contacted you. Please make sure you respond to ensure a smooth delivery.

And:

A….. may have trouble completing your delivery and can only wait a little longer. Please respond for a smooth delivery.

I look form my window and he is just arriving. So he doesn't rush to ring the intercom so I can let him in and he can deliver the package, but instead proceeds to call me in front of the intercom. He says, hi I arrived and silence (probably trying to get me to come down and pick up my delivery, rather he come up and deliver to my door) and I say ok, I can't hear you ringing the bell. Then he rings and comes up, unhappy that it didn't work out his trick with me. They are just so lazy.

So every time I order from Uber I stress that he is just going to ring once and leave so I sit anxiously looking at my phone so I don't miss the delivery. I mean it shouldn't be like this, when I am paying extra money for the convenience and luxury to relax at home and have the food situation for the night sorted out. I don’t have loads of money but I am single mum of two so when I am completely exhausted occasionally I order food from Uber either groceries or prepered food. And this should be helping me not stressing me extra.

One time, they rang once, until I reached the hallway(It's a two-bedroom apartment, not a huge space) he was gone. I run downstairs as I really needed that food, my children were hungry, he was gone. So he had sent a message “I’ve arrived and the rest” and the last thing he do was to ring the intercom. It's very easy to find location, pretty straightforward. Until.J reached the bottom of the stairs I got a message in the app” Delivered”. So I tried to contact the customer service, I had to say 100 times speak to human, speak to human. Finally someone came on the web chat. They said he’s been at my location and messaged me, but couldn't wait long so he left and therefore they wont be refunding my order! I tried arguing but they disconnected me and that was it. I had to order the same again because the kids were starving by this time and I did. Payed double that day. So understanding that I am on super alert now when I order from Uber.

I noticed the taxi drivers do the same thing. I get a message from your driver has arrived, but I can not see him anywhere. And there after 2-3 minutes, they arrive. So they send the message way before they arrive so your time is ticking and you get charged for being “late” when actually you aren't. I said to one guy, you send a message I’ve arrived much earlier when I was downstairs waiting and saw when you came. He tried to lie, noooo, it wouldn’t let me send a message until I have as arrived. I said but I was here and was again worry that you will leave when I saw when you arrived…

I just hate them. Since they didn't refund me they are dead for me. I order from Deliveroo.

Sorry for the long message. It felt healing to share this frustration with Uber. I feel they think we have no other option so it's like a monopoly over the good delivery industry. Officially, rant DONE 😆

ANYONE ELSE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE?
