I'm literally Tutenstein!
Mummy outfit + was scepter = Tutenstein
For those who do not know, Tutenstein is a cartoon show about ancient Egypt featuring an undead 10 yr old pharaoh who uses the was scepter like a magic wand to fix or cause chaos.

I caught my cat sitting by the window just before sunrise in this exact pose and he has nailed the classic Egyptian feline statue pose. The straight back, the wrapped tail, and that unwavering profile looking out the window felt so regal. I can't help but share it!
The orange cloth underneath happened to be a complete accident, but it almost looks like a little makeshift altar!
Hello everyone. I'm wondering did the ancient Egyptians associate the blue lotus with the rising and setting sun since the sky literally takes on the color of the blue lotus' petals during sunrise and sunset, aside from the fact that they are aware of the blue lotus flower blooming in the morning, closing in the afternoon and sinking in the evening.
Also what do modern Kemetists believe about the said flower? 𓆸
Hi everyone! I'm an egyptophile from the Philippines and I wanted to share a personal project I’ve been working on: an immersive olfactory tribute to ancient Egypt. I wanted to capture the sacred, ritualistic, and literal physical essence of Kemet in a bottle, using historical botanical notes and genuine materials. Here's how it turned out:
Scent
Top notes: blue lotus
Mid: frankincense, cinnamon, juniper, elemi
Base: myrrh, cedar
It opens with blue lotus, the ultimate floral symbol of ancient Egypt representing rebirth and the sun. The mid and base notes are inspired by kyphi and embalming materials.
Bottle
As you can see, the bottle may be a modern roll on but there are stones submerged in the golden oil. It has genuine lapis lazuli which represents the night sky and the hair of the gods, a fragment of the Gebel Kamil meteorite which fell in Egypt likely during the New Kingdom; it's an actual piece of what the ancient Egyptians referred to as "bia en pet" or iron from the sky which back then was more precious than gold.
The label feataures a stylized cartouche of Thutmose III's prenomen (Menkheperre) since he's my favorite pharaoh and the perfume I made is how I imagined him to have smelled like. Let me know what you guys think!
I'm interested to know more about modern Kemetic practices and beliefs. I wonder what do Kemetic practitioners believe about cats I know ancient Egyptians saw them as living vessels of Bastet. And is petting a cat a form of ritual honoring Bastet herself?
It's the word that immediately came to my mind when I saw this.
Hi. First of all I am not a Kemetic practitioner but I am an egyptomaniac from the Philippines. I just wanted to share what I believe to be the most naturally Egyptian photo I ever took.
A father and daughter moment where my pet cat representing Bastet sits in the classic Egyptian cat statue pose (I lose it whenever he does that) looking up at the sun, representing Ra who is Bastet's father. It's soooo Egyptian I can't...
The real life daggers themselves can be found in the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). To find it in game, complete the quest "National Treasures" in Yebu nome, Thebes.
It's my favorite weapon in the entire game btw!
Cats were considered earthly manifestations of the gods, particularly Bastet (the goddess of home, fertility and protection). They were so deeply revered that under Egyptian law, intentionally killing a cat, was often punishable by death.

The cartouche seen inside the great pyramid with the sand and treasure room belongs to a new kingdom pharaoh named Seti I aka Menmaatre (he is the father of Ramesses II).
You can see the cartouche bears the glyphs "men"/senet board which means enduring, the seated goddess Maat which means justice and finally the sun disk of Ra. Together they spell out "menmaatre" which means enduring is the justice of Ra.
The "house of the blue lotus" in Yebu nome, Thebes (requires curse of the pharaohs DLC).
I'm a perfume maker who enjoys blending scents inspired by historical eras or vibes as a hobby and seeing and exploring something in the game that's explicitly connected to ancient Egyptian perfumery just made my day.
The blue lotus or nymphaea caerulea is no doubt the most Egyptian note and floral of all time.
