Seems the painkillers really kicked in for her.
So yeah I'm sure all of you saw what happened. Doc says my right eye took the brunt of it, so i need to keep this patch on for a week, then I go back for a follow up. It..still hurts like hell. They gave me some eye drops to put in 3 times a day to help dilute the ink that's still in there.
Ghh...dammit..this hurts. So much. Archie come here! I need you. I really need you right now!
She runs off to find him, breathing slightly heavy as if trying to hold back any crying
2 minutes left in the match. The Inky Shell Smashers have control of the tower and are nearing the final goal point. Their opponents, Blue Wave, are relentlessly stepping up their defense. Tani stands on top of the tower, taking pot shots here and there while keeping the platform inked and under her team's control.
"30 meters to go, we got this!"
On a couple of nearby ledges, two snipers watch the tower. Tani peeks out from her swim form, and in what seems like an instant, is hit twice by the snipers. The first shot knocks her goggles off her eyes, the second one catches her directly and she falls off the tower. Not splatted but no longer in control of the tower.
30 seconds remaining
Her teammates are quick to dispatch the two snipers and prevent the other Blue Wave members from snagging the tower. In the end, Inky Shell Smashers win when the time runs out. Amidst the excitement, no one had noticed that Tani hasn't gotten up from the floor and appears to be covering her face in pain.
"Son of a...mother...fucker!!" She shouts as she bangs her fist on the floor. Medical inkfish arrive to check her. The crowd is quiet as they wait to see what happened. After a moment, she's standing and the crowd cheers and applauds that she's up. She is escorted off the field by the medics, still holding one hand over her eyes.
The Inky Shell Smashers will need to call on a reserve player as Tani is injured and unable to play for some time.
G: And she got me the wrong size top!
T: I said I was sorry!

T: First things first I want to apologize publicly to the player I hit in the eye with a Super Clam. It was not my intention to hurt you like that, I was merely trying to score for my team. It was unfortunate timing that you dove to block, which I am not blaming you for. I do hope you recover soon, and I look forward to when our teams face off again. Again I am terribly sorry this happened.

Since I have Tani as a pro in Anarchy, I feel those are the equivalent of real life sports like football, baseball, etc. As such a 3 minute time limit seems far too short for pro sports. This is especially true for matches like Clam Blitz, Rainmaker, and Tower Control for example. Turf War isn't ranked so the time limit can be set by the players themselves.
So what do you guys think?

Edit: okay so listening to some feedback, I will make sure she either gets small, easy to break ice cubes, or frozen treats so we dont hurt her teeth. I had no idea that was a risk, and she's my 2nd corgi! 😫

T: I'm 21 years old and I'm a profreshional Clam Blitz, Tower Control, and Splat Zones player. My team's been doing well this season, we've got more wins than losses. Though sometimes I'll do some part time work at Grizzco when money gets a little tight.....orrrrr if I find a really fresh pair of shoes or goggles in the shop and I just gotta have them. Gina's my best friend, and I know you guys have been seeing her diary entries she's been sharing, so I hope you guys enjoy my company as well as hers! Ummm...AMA I guess? If you wanna. I don't have any matches scheduled today, so I'm pretty free.
Forgive me if I ramble, but I am taking Tani's advice to heart.
To start, I was put through intense training from the age of 6, and brought into the Octarian Army at the age of 10. Those early years seem like a blur to me, but what I can remember is serving under an Octarian General assigned to a group of engineers working on the Octomaw. That was when I first encountered her, the Inkling known as Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon. My squad and I were soundly defeated by her, as was our general, and eventually she destroyed the Octomaw.
In the years that followed DJ Octavio's first defeat, I became squad leader, and my team was assigned to work under General Octo Samurai. An odd one, but efficient nonetheless. We worked diligently to help our energy problems.
Our biggest mission was to facilitate the capture of Agent 1. My squad scouted her for some time and found the perfect opportunity to ambush, subdue, and capture her. We were told to bring her directly to DJ Octavio. We did not question what his motives were, as we were taught. Had I known what I know now, I may have rebelled sooner. As a reward for our success, Octavio assigned us personally to work among his elite guard. This is when we were attacked by Agents 2 and 4 as they made their way to rescue Agent 1. 4 did not fight like 3, who was calculating and efficient. 4 was more..wild with his combat. Like a crazed salmonid let loose onto the battlefield. His movements were so unpredictable, none of us knew he was a distraction for Agent 1 to snipe us all. My squad was flattened, and I suffered vision troubles for nearly a year after that battle.
I am ending this log at this time. I was 15 during that battle, so the next log will cover the following year, when I ascended to the surface and left the Octarian Army. Thank you for reading

Hello everyone, this is Gina. I have been on the surface for 8 years. Tani is my first and best friend since coming here, and only recently did I feel comfortable telling her of my ordeals that I went through before coming to the surface. She suggested I log my thoughts here to help maybe vent any stress I have. Which...she has a point. Um..I may not do a log daily as I've seen some others do, but I will try my best to make regular posts.
Before I end things today, I will say that I am still not 100% fluent in Inklish, so i may come off as odd or even write in Octarian. Thank you for having me here.

My wife and I love to nature watch, but with what's going on at Liberty State Park, there's not a ton to see there besides a few birds here and there. We'd like to go somewhere that we can admire nature, bird watch, and relax. Not a zoo obviously.
I recently applied for a new property under construction and was initially told that new developments tend to hold about 10% of their units for low income families. Upon having an interview with AVIVA's leasing department, I was told they don't do that, and their starting price is way outside my budget. I'm wondering if there's anyone or any place that could help us out. We're stuck in a cramped 1 bedroom unit with 2 kids. This is not ideal for us in the slightest. I've already applied for Housing Authority, and tried Section 8 but they weren't taking applications at the time.
