Main Villain

Just wondering what people think about changing the main villain of the story to a giant instead of a ancient blue dragon. I wanna run this adventure but I’m looking to keep it as a very giant centric one. My biggest issue with this story is Imeryth. The entire adventure is all about giants and then bang, big bad is a dragon. I am thinking of swapping her for a Giant, maybe a Storm Giant, and I think with glory of the giants this is very doable, just wondering if anyone can see any huge issues with this?

Sigh

Went to play a game, first one in weeks, got into nighttime dire marsh, forgot to switch my contract, and then when I went to use my thief ability, my game crashed. All kinds of fail lol

How is Daggerheart high tier

Just curious what high tier play is like? Do characters feel powerful with lots of options, or is it more limited compared to other system like D&D, especially for casters.

Season 2 thoughts

Just curious what people are thinking of season 2 so far, I have likes and dislikes. I think the new map and weapons are great, I also like the character progression, feels faster and the cradle is good.
My negatives, I think survival mode was under baked and probably needed more time in the oven. It’s fun but is detrimental to the queues, and my god it made rook not fun to play.
It has also has made some real glaring balance issues with gearing.
Now I will be honest, I’ve only played maybe 20 some hours this season so it maybe levels out a bit as you level, but it’s made survival the promo way to level, and not to do it through regular queues.
I also feel like some of the decisions around the armoury has been bad for new players. I find green shields to hard to come by, so i think this may cause issue mid to late season as the gap between those with purple and those with no shields will widen. In the hours that I’ve played I think I found 1-2 green shields in run. As opposed to the last season where I had at least 1 at most times. I think this is bad as it makes the ttk stagnant and new players and casual players may never feel like they’re progressing. Just wondering what everyone thinks

Kinda wish this game had a practice range

As the title says, kinda wish this game had a practice range in it like arc raiders where you can bring a loadout in to try out. Been a few times now I go into a game with a new gun I’ve not used before and I find out I don’t like it. Be nice to try them out before I commit to a run.

Exfil tips for Rook

Anyone got tips for a rook having trouble surviving exfil? I feel like a majority of the time I get taken out during extraction. I tried waiting for final exfil but that’s been mostly a death trap, usually get killed by someone farming kills. Just wondering what a good strategy would be.
