- AAEnabler should be the priority goto installing Fermata Xtream. There are many reasons why, imediate updates is the most prominent. If for any reason AAEnabler doesn't work for you, fermataxtream.online is online again, with a few changes:

- Email is now imediate, no need to wait. That said, it is very limited numbers so make sure you don't be a #°@°# and although AAEnabler is working for you, you still request a link.

-You need to enable Google Play developer options(Pessing About/Playstore version 7 times) and enable Internal App sharing

-AAEnabler license unlocks Fermata Xtream Premium

Also I am working on a better way still for everyone. So dont be greedy. If I see it is abused and doesn't work, I will pull the website offline again.

wanted to let you know that there is a new version for Fermata Xtream Premium.

I implemented:

- a more car friendy UI I saw from another app.

- included a DashCam feature that uses the phone as a camera front and back recorder with sound.

- made some improvements on Xtream channel scraping. Now its faster by selecting All at once and also gets rid of the 10 or 29 Groups only when loading channels. Also it auto-creates the Live, Movies and Series folders

- Gallery of pictures on phone

- Gallery of videos on phone

- Included free to view world-wide channels by default

- World wide radio channels included

Use AAEnabler to install. Premium version only for Donors though AAEnabler. Past Donors will get sorted out this week, just be patient.

Again to stress it. AAEnabler is totaly free. You can enable though it the free version of Fermata Xtream: https://github.com/malebuffy/Fermata-Xtream/releases/download/v2.1.48/fermata-rec-2.1.48-auto-release-universal.apk

DO NOT DONATE though AAEnabler if the above free version doesn't appear on Android Auto. ONLY do so if you want Premium and the above works. I won't be able to help you if you lose it.

You can now install AA apps on you Android 9 to 16 (didn't test Android 17) like Fermata Auto, Fermata Xtream, and many more just by downloading the APK and installing with AAEnabler, entirely for FREE! Yes, for free!

Basically a Kinginstaller that works for Android 14 and above.

There is still a donation link, some of my future Premium developments will need this licence to work as to make sure there will be future updates. Fermata Xtream Free version doesn't need a donation. You can find it in the known github:

No guarantee this will work forever, but it works on my Android 16. Also there are some phone models that have issues, I suggest to try a free app and if it works, bother with a donation.

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream is going offline

Hello all,

Unfortunately I have to stop providing Fermata Xtream to the public through the Beta test Programm. I would like to thank everyone that donated to support development and all donors have been taken care off. However due to some recent developments, I will not be able to continue.

The app remains at github (free version) and that will remain there.

What does that mean for you?

If you lose the app from phone, either deleting or using a new phone, I am unable to help you. You will either need Kinginstaller and Android 13 and lower, or AAWIRELESS dongle or similar.

I have sent out all links today to people that donated TODAY, and for me that's a wrap!

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream with FS Play (YouTube and Browser and Channel list)

As promised, new update only for donors.

FS Play now has an integrated YouTube player, a light Browser and a Channel list selector for easy channel switching.

Oh....an I made Fermata Media Service icon gray....so it doesn't get confused with the real Fermata Xtream icon.

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream with Fullscreen companion app

Hi again,

Just info that Fermata Xtream's FS Play is now live for donors. For those that don't know, it's a companion app like FS mirror, but it specifically plays the last played channel in Fullscreen for Headunits that have split screen permanent.

I also implemented something you will probably disable. 😀

Now as default, when the car is moving, video is disabled. It's just the right thing to do.

You can disable it anytime in the Video Settings like I show in the images.

Free version will also be updated to include the guard. So if if you have video enabled while driving, it's entirely your responsibility.

Again, register fermataxtream.online for either the free or the donor version.

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream with Fullscreen companion app

So I found a way to play Fullscreen videos on Android Auto by faking it as a navigation app. Its the only way. However, the way to do it is with the FS Play app that comes with the new Fermata Xtream. So FS Play, plays in fullscreen whatever was played last. In other words you play your channel, you stop it. Go to FS Play and start it. It will play it in Fullscreen.

I know it's not the full Fermata Xtream, but it's the only possible way, as this only works in a specific configuration, which is not compatible with how Fermata Xtream (or Auto) is built.

When I will have a stable version, I will let you know.

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream - Dual View

First of all apologies for the second post today, but I am on a business trip next week and wanted to get this over with and finished earlier than expected. Consider this as experimental still, but stable enough to release.

Again ONLY for donors, you can update the app normally though the link. I will be in South America time zone, so apologies for any delay in sending out the links.

What this does is that you can have 2 streams play at the same time (left/right and up/down).

-Audio is selectable though touching the corresponding video.

-Switching to up/down and vice versa through the slider on the top right.

-Slider in the middle can be dragged to make one video bigger than the other etc.

-To get back to watch a single video, there is a play button on the top right.

Make sure your provider allows multi-view (not to be confused with multiple device connections). If not, you might motice some channels pausing and starting again. Not a big issue but hey, not perfect either!

[UPDATE] Fermata Xtream now supports catch-up

Hello again,

Fertmata Xtream supports Catch-up. On Catch-up enabled channels, there is an icon like the picture where you can long-press, select Catch-up and the list of available shows is displayed. Clicking on the show will play it immediately.

Note!

You will need to refresh the list of Channels again, for the icon to appear.
This version is only available to the paid donors as promised.
Of course the xtream enabled version without group filtering, voice controll and Catch-up is still available for free.

Hi again,

After weeks of focusing on Fermata Xtream bug fixes and implementing new features, I’ve finally reached the point where I can release two major additions, one returning feature and one brand-new feature built completely from scratch.

Voice Control is back.

I finally found a way to bring it back while still being able to properly update the app with future releases.

Group Filtering is now available.

You can now filter the groups you want to see in your list, meaning no more endless scrolling through unnecessary groups.

I’ve decided to keep this release exclusive to those who support the development through donations. I believe this is only fair, especially to help prevent people from reselling the app while getting it from me for free.

Important: Fermata Xtream without Voice Control and Group Filtering will still remain completely free for everyone.

People who donate will receive a different download link from those using the free version. No matter what, Fermata Xtream will always be available for free.

Notes:

Importing channels may be slightly slower due to the additional processing required for filtering. Some devices may struggle a bit, but the channels list will eventually load and after that, loading is fast again. It really depends on the device.

Future donators will be automatically recognised, and all future updates will remain free for them. If you are a past donator DM me.

Hi guys, excited to go to game 6 hopefully for the final win! 😀

I am from Europe on a business trip to Alpharetta and booked my ticket for game 6. My question is more on what the best and safest way would be to come back to Alpharetta after the game. Would a lyft/uber would be easier to find? The train/bus combo? I have never been to either of Atlanta or Alpharetta, so I am looking for a safe/easy way to get to my hotel in Norhpoint, Alpharetta.

I guess uber/lyft would be the easiest...but I am not sure about availability after a game. Train is probably the cheapest, but I have never taken the train/bus, so not sure about safety at the time.

Any pointers appreciated!
