Deadlift
Picked up deadlifting recently! But I’m not sure if my form is right.

My dream is to get the muscle-up one day! I went from 0 to 9-10(?) pull-ups within a year of spamming pull-ups as my warm-up/in-between sets, and bulked up 20-25lbs within 6 months.
But in this video, I feel like my traps are compensating and my legs tend to lean to one side? Even when jumping in volleyball to hit, my legs tend to lean to one side and I don’t know why.
Here is my experience with holding/dragging and clicking in general for the Typecase Flexbook. The pressure needed to click is uneven and takes so much effort, and it has that ‘sticky’ scrolling feel. I couldn’t do secondary click with two fingers even if I wanted to.
I haven’t seen anyone complain about this specifically, so I’m hoping it’s just the one I got because the color is gorgeous.
I recently bought an iPad Pro M5 13” and have tried 2 keyboards so far: the ESR Rebound and the Typecase Touch. My plan is to see how I like the both of them, and if they don’t hold up, settle for the Magic Keyboard with a compatible cover for extra protection. My main usage is digital art and graphic design, it is currently my work/laptop replacement.
Pros:
- gorgeous!
- prefer the keys over ESR, good/similar travel time to MK/a Macbook
- absolutely love the 360 ability, great for switching between digital art usage and laptop mode
- prefer the ‘laptop’ design a lot more, mine doesn’t really tip over
- lightweight
Cons:
- terrible trackpad: requires way too much effort to hold/drag which I need for digital design (I’m hearing 3 clicks), very ‘sticky’, uneven pressure require on the trackpad, more lag, sensitivity issues, and some cursor jumping: here is my experience with it
- worried about the hinge breaking
- case felt a little loose on my iPad
Pros:
- extra case for protection when not mounted
- more bottom-heavy, don’t have to worry about tipping it over
- feel like my iPad is very protected
- trackpad has even pressure throughout
Cons:
- very heavy and bulky
- travel time for trackpad feels longer than MK/Macbook of course
- some cursor jumping/lag if i shift+click
- prone to collecting smudges
I was looking forward to the Typecase more since it’s my favorite color and like the traditional laptop feel more, but the trackpad is a huge dealbreaker for me. I hope the one I got is just faulty and it isn’t usually like this.
My mom suffered a ruptured aneurysm and has been in the hospital for a little over the month. But her brother (my uncle) passed from cardiac arrest sometime after his visit. It’s been 4 weeks since he’s passed.
She’s a lot more coherent and remembering a lot more things, and the nurses gave the ok for her to use her cell phone to call people since she’s gotten emotional from the loneliness.
Thing is, she keeps asking about her brother and we’ve had to redirect the subject so many times. She gets the feeling her family is hiding something from her—one time she cried thinking someone in her family died, but at that point nobody told her anything. She hates being left in the dark the most, especially by her kids.
If we are to tell her, we’d be on video call with most of the family/lots of people visiting her in-person with her kids (me and my siblings) breaking the news to her.
I’m in Canada if that information helps. What steps should we take to ease her into the information? Or should we wait until she’s discharged?
Bought a dupe from FB Marketplace, but the seller was oblivious too! She refunded me and I’m going to return it (as I don’t want to risk metal leaching, otherwise it’s the perfect color).
I’m on the hunt for a Dear Diary colorway which is rare (send tips please), so Open Air is my next pick. Can anyone send a picture to compare the two?
