The Hottake…

If you can.. get active y’all.

I promise, I understand the excuses we give ourselves.

I’m too tired. I don’t feel good. Bad day. No time.

Take your pick of excuse. I’ve been there. I used to have horrible knee, shoulder, and feet pain. Purely from being too heavy for my frame. It prevented me from doing anything. But you have to simply start.

Pain. Pain is the thing we try to never experience in life and our bodies. We don’t want pains of hunger. Pains of body.

Pain is temporary. Pain lessens as you build your strength.

GLP1s are amazing. But they are not liquid accountability.

They also will cause you to lose muscle mass from reduced caloric intake. So it’s really important to do heavy lifts and resistance training. GIVE YOUR MUSCLES A REASON TO EXIST.

There is always something you can do! You don’t need a gym. You don’t need to do anything other than SOMETHING.

It’s small consistent steps with big results. You got this. You reading… YOU got this.

My first Vault clear in Reg Cryo!

I finally got a cryo 1 clear in PVP cryo!

We looted the key off a team and my team was super generous in giving me the gold!

I know you can get a Drrvish from grinding out the vault breaker but this is my first “wild” vault gold and fought a team for it! So it feels more special!

The battle pistol still does work man!

Also, we managed to get level 5 and got the trace! So by far of one of my favorite runs and keeps me grinding through the 99/100 failed runs.

So thank you to the super chill and cracked triage and assassin! Also glad to see you don’t need to run recon to win!

Knowing you’re there, taking the win!

Hello all!

I started my journey at ~230lbs in January 2025. I didn’t start taking Tirz until August of 2025. As I near my year of the GLP1 journey. I had to reflect and realize that the rest is truly up to me. I currently sit at ~147lbs.

As I transition to reducing my need on GLP1s and eventually stopping, I have learned a lot about myself and what it takes for me to succeed.

The recap:

Tirz is an amazing drug. It has quite literally saved me from being a diabetic. Diabetes running on both sides of my family. So when my labs came in at the end of 2024 being pre-diabetic, I knew I needed to do something.

Obviously, if you are active in GLP1 subreddits, you know what these drugs do. They curb your cravings and reduce caloric intake. Albeit a very simplified explanation.

What they won’t do, is build your habits for you!

Strength training isn’t just to look good. But it is crucial to preserve lean muscle mass that you will be losing due to a very decreased caloric intake.

So step out of the box! If you’re able, engage in walks + strength training at home or a gym. This helps with how you feel and how you look. Of course, protein is a must.

Beware of the obsessions!

I became unhealthily obsessed with seeing the number go down. When I saw upticks from a myriad of reasons, I became emotionally irritable and self conscious. I took those frustrations and honed them into achievable goals.

How do I feel in my clothes? In 2 months, can I lift my body weight 10 times in a squat? Can I become more focused in my diet?

Whatever thought that bother you or you find yourself thinking about too much. Reflect on them. What about these thoughts make you feel as you do?

Realization!

The number on the scale is not nearly as important as how your clothes feel on you. How your partner looks at you. How long you can chase your kiddos around without getting tired. Being able to carry them to bed. Taking a hike with your family. Being exited for the next adventure.

I finally realized that my weight loss journey has become a fitness journey. The number on the scale is a gauge and not the goal anymore. Living life like I only have one, is the reason for my fitness.

I hope you will see that if you are struggling, you will get there. Keep going.

For those of you whom inspired me, thank you.

My Tirz journey will soon come to a close. My fitness journey continues!

Increasing to 12.5mg!

Hello all!

I have been in 10mg Zep since about November of last year.

I was on compound then and started the transition to Zep proper. I have since a massed about a 6 month stockpile of 12.5 mg and am on my last 2 doses of 10 mg.

I had always planned to get through my 10mg stock and transitions to the next dose.

Looking at my stats, I have continued to lose with diet and exercise. But my loss has slowed to a massive crawl.

I’d bet that my increased weight training and increased consumption to fuel muscle growth has contributed but I have been at the ~150lbs (+/- 2lbs) mark for about 6 weeks now. Cant seem to push past this mark. I want to reach 145 and maintain.

How is the next dose going to feel after effectively 7 or 8 months on 10mg?

Could I even expect to see another jump in weight loss?

I do train frequently. At minimum 3 times a week. So I am more worried about not being able to eat like I need to I suppose.

We take our shots on Sundays. Currently I have been weekly. And my gf does 2 sundays in between shots and has had great success with maintaining her weight in a 132-136 range.

I want to engage in a Sunday in between doses after my first full month of 12.5mg.

I am very proud of my progress. I understand the scale number is less important than how I feel or look to myself. I know I still have improvements make.

So just wanted to gather some opinions on your take or experience with something similar!

Outpost was good to me today.

I finally made it out with some good stuff in outpost.

I got super lucky with an outpost compromised key in my last run. Made it out with the fabled gold mizzy mod. I of course had to farm mats for the mizzy batter because I am no cryo king to collect them from there.

But I now have my first gold mizzy to stare at and lose at later date.

My best zero to Hero run

I went in on the nucaloric sponsor kit. With one other on the kit and one on a blue shield. Up against a team of purples in the first 5 mins.

Stacked against the odds. We had to play like bitches but we got it done! Managed to take another team in pinwheel and got to red room and skidaddled on outta there!

Def my best run on outpost and first real zero to hero run.

Ps. Sorry to the rook in the last 60 secs of the match. My adrenaline was peaked and I saw enemy movement and took no chances.

Does anyone else’s Shepherd do this??

Meet Mina!

She is a silly girl who absolutely loves belly rubs and sings the song of her people (Noise whistles and whines of want) at 4:00am to use the bathroom.

She has a habit of sleeping in the most contorted ways possible!

It takes time!

Hello Zeppers!

I have finally bought some new clothes to my current size! It was kinda scary.

I did a closet cleaning. And have my big clothes in a few boxes to donate and some of my more expensive brands I will try to sell for cheap.

I am 229 on the left and 148 on the right. This red pants USED to be my smallest pant at 33 when I could fit in them 10 years ago. I always held out I would fit in them again. They are now a little big on me. I just bought size 30 pants that fit to what feels like a normal weight for me. Or rather it feels sustainable. Also I cut down 4 inches from that belt and could stand to take another 2 tbh.

My goals have shifted from the number in the scale to how my body looks and feels. I want to have a six pack at least once in my life while I am alive and able to do it! I see this now as a true privilege to GET to do. I am on this earth once in this life. I want to make the most of my time here and live my life. I will never say that this drug wasn’t worth it. But it is only a tool. Resistance training and a proper diet are still non negotiable!

Doesn’t mean not to enjoy indulgent foods. DO IT. Enjoy all that life offers. Pick your hard. Being overweight was so hard. Hard on my mind, body, and soul.

Thank you to this community to see such encouragement!

Definition and the Goal!

I have hit my goal weight of 150lbs!

I haven’t been in this weight since my sophomore year of high school!

Even in high school I couldn’t see the abdominal definition I do here. I do feel like I have lots to go. I want to get in as peak a shape as I can while I can. I have realized that the ability to get fit and move my body is truly a privilege. I want to embrace movement while I can. These days will one day be behind me and I could lose the ability.

I now am on the road to the 15-18% body fat goal. At some point the scale doesn’t matter as much as what I can achieve with my physique.

I have a cruise in December and I want a night a day difference from my last December cruise.

Weight training has been critical as well as eating enough. Nutrition is still so vital to your journey.

Thank you to this community for the support and pushing through the hardships!

The journey continues!

Hello Zeppers!

Would you consider this goal met? 😂

I do have considerable soreness from this week’s workouts that I am sure I am retaining some water.

This weight is also after doing my business in the morning.

I started at 229 pounds at the end August 2025. I am proud of ~80 pounds!!

Now… I am no longer too concerned with a “goal weight”. I am trying to achieve a level of strength and body shape. I want to reach as fit as I can be at least once in this lifetime.

This leads me to some thoughts.

When eating becomes important to manage, would you still maintain on this drug?

In my experience it’s getting tougher to eat to my active calories. I just don’t have the hunger. Albeit, it is generally higher on this drug because I am prioritizing my workouts.

Any body have any inputs on this?

Lastly, I am pretty certain I will just extend my dose to every other week soon. My GF has been doing this for almost a year now and it’s been a great success for her. She has managed to maintain very well and has been in the same fitness journey with me. She is starting to experiment with 2 weeks in between doses and soon to quit the drug. I am proud of her progress with 100+ pounds loss!
