Rewatching Attack of the Clones earlier, I forgot how satisfying and awesome Jango Fett's seismic charges sound. To be fair all the ship and weapon sounds in the movie are great. What are some of your favourites? (Sucks that gifs don't have sound but I'm sure if you've seen the movie you'll hear it anyway)
I rewatched Octopussy earlier and this scene always makes me crack up. What are some of your favourite unintentionally funny scenes that you always laugh to?
Playing on console it took me over 100 hours of playtime to realise the right stick could be used as a cursor to select things just out of reach normally.
I only found this out by trying to use my pan in the river but it not activating no matter where I stood, so I looked it up and saw it just say put the cursor over the spot then use the pan... Finding this out has also helped massively with decorating, which I have also only just found out how to rotate furniture.
What things in game did you not figure out for way too long?
Just saw Die Hard was on TV and even though it was right at the end I knew I had to watch it for this one scene. It's one of those scenes that gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. What film scenes do this for you?
I just finished replaying Ace Combat 7 and somehow I'd forgotten the song that plays during the credits called "Pensées" which I loved.
It got me thinking about what other great credits songs there have been, whether written for the game specifically or not.
My favourite has got to be "Way to Fall" from Metal Gear Solid 3. It really was just the perfect song to end one of my all time favourite games. What are some credits songs you love?
I don't mean villains you love to hate like Handsome Jack or Vaas, I mean ones you truly loathe. I'm replaying Far Cry 5 at the moment and I forgot how much I actually hate the Seed family.
The constant kidnapping you during the game, usually at the worst time possible. Having to listen to them spout their bullshit and acting like they're the actual good guys in unskippable cutscenes. I'm a bit over half way through the game and I am legitimately getting pissed off any time they're on the screen.
What video game villains do you really hate?
Oh and don't even get me started about not even having an ending where you get to kill Jospeh...
So I was thinking of buying the Star Wars: Bounty Hunter remaster that came out a while ago. One of my friends had it when I was a teenager and I always thought it looked so cool, but never got it myself back then.
So when the remaster came out I thought this is perfect, I can finally play it. So I watched some reviews/gameplay and one it had one tiny problem...
Jango's blasters don't have the right sound effect, they sound like the standard Star Wars blasters not his unique sounding ones from Attack of the Clones. I know it's such a stupid reason to not buy a game, but It just bugs me too much.
Do you have any reasons like this that have stopped you from buying a game?
I literally cannot say whoopsie daisy without turning into Daniel Day-Lewis from Gangs of New York. Do you have any words or phrases you can't say without doing a movie impression?
A bit over 150 hours played now and my most hunted monster is Rathalos with 40 which I was suprised about and my least being a tie between Yian Kut-Ku, Gypceros and Anjanath all on 4 (Not including Guardian Arkveld)
