AJLT- I've never watched a single episode and overall know very little about the series.

My friends I am a die hard background noise SATC fan of almost 30 years. I love season 1,2,3. Season 4 is eh. There are a few fantastic episodes in 4 but overall not my favorite. 5 is a crime darling. 1st half of 6 is rough but the second half 6 was great.

Should I watch AJLT? Or just keep my happiness?

One of the best performances of all time. Meredith Baxter didn't pretend to be Betty she became Betty.

Love this movie

Music Box... here's the thing.

1st please know I'm a lamb and this my opinion. Please don't bully me.

When I listen to Music Box it feels so micromanage. I know Tommy was at the height of white washing Mariah. I have no connection to it. Of course I love Hero but it's not in my top 20 songs. Does anyone else know what I mean? It felt and still feels suppressed.

Tommy Mattola

He hung onto her and not in a love of my life way. She was was expected to be a doll and sing her ballads. Tommy didn't love Mariah. He saw her as a possession and nearly broke her with the sabotage after she left him.

I'm referencing her book if you haven't read it.

Wtf? My theory is she has a deep rooted fear of not having financial security.

Frightening scenes

I absolutely love part 7. It has an amazing highly underrated score by Fred Mollin and Harry Manfredini. Their blend of classic horror with electronic was perfect. Can you hear the photos above?

Last time we see Aidan

Carrie really thought Aidan was going to forgive her when she told him. When he backs away she seems genuinely confused. "Are you going to meet me at the Church?" No Carrie he's not. When we see Aidan 2.0 he's a completely changed Man. Passive aggressive and out to both punish Carrie but "win" in the end with an engagement ring.

Carrie's last appearance for a while.

Season 4 episode 16 (Ring a ding ding) is the last time we see Carrie Bradshaw. Episode 17 began a streak of the annoyance that is season 5. The screaming. Who is that character? Carrie Bradshaw would have hated that character. Season 6 I'm divided on. Its still not Carrie Bradshaw but the 2nd half of season 6 has some of the best moments of the series.

Best to worst

Season 1

Season 2

Season 3

Season 4

Season 6

Season 5

Season 4 episode 6 is the last time we see our Carrie Bradshaw.

Aidan 2.0 became a rude passive aggressive jerk and Carrie changed forever as a character. She became the Carrie Bradshaw we know today. This lead into what became the worst of the series Season 5.

The screaming. The Squirrel.

But, I did see a glimpse of Carrie back in season 6 but it was never the same. It became a fantasy vs a reality of being single in NYC.

My love hate relationship with Steve

I love Steve he's a genuine good soul. I rooted for him and think he had the most growth of all the other men. When he tells Miranda "you're the one." He means it and it's so beautiful.

I hate Steve he's obnoxious and immature during his 1st go at a relationship with Miranda. When he says he wants a baby it's like he's talking about going to Disney world. He was a Man Baby and it drove me insane.

Lizzie Borden

I absolutely love this movie. It's so fun and Christina Ricci is fantastic. Cela Duvall plays Emma is also great.

Kept Woman 2015

I loved everything about this movie. It's cheaply made and not the best script. But it adds up to something. Courtney Ford and Shaun Benson have great chemistry on screen. I'd recommend if you haven't seen it.

Jason character changes

Every Jason was played differently for a different director. Kane.Hodder was of course both New Blood and Manhattan but he played the roles very differently. Its interesting to me how the backbone of the story stays but allows for different personality. Kane in NB was MEAN Jason and the best of the series. Jason in Manhattan is a totally different portrayal. So awesome

My seasons

My favorite seasons are 1-3 and I love them and vinged watch many times. Season 4 is depressing and Aidan is beyond annoying. Season 5 idk who this version of Carrie is. She's a pixy who screams when it rains. Old Carrie would have found season 5 Carrie obnoxious. Season 6 Carrie comes back partially but it was never the same.
