I am also a mother of an awesome kiddo who is now 8 years old. He was diagnosed with Level 1 autism. At first, it was incredibly difficult, especially financially. Now, he/she studies in a regular school under an inclusion program with a shadow teacher, and I still continue his/her occupational therapy. As a mother, sometimes you feel completely drained and exhausted, especially when funds are tight, but as they say, God will provide. For our children with special needs, keep fighting, mommies! We need to stay strong for them.
