Has our league grown enough to have supporters groups in other cities? Like a Nanaimo supporters group for Pacific Fc etc

I’m sure there is somewhere but I haven’t heard of any.

Vancouver Whitecaps finalizing deal to acquire Canadian midfielder Emrick Fotsing from Vancouver FC. @ManuelVeth first reported. Fee in region of $400k. Several other MLS teams wanted the former Montréal academy talent. Could finish season in CPL with Vancouver before joining Whitecaps in winter.

Celebrity mascots?

Just an open question but where the league is fairly new and trying to expand the eyes on their product, I’m sort of surprised they haven’t tried some sort of “celebrity” mascot or representative.

Halifax had Nathan MacKinnon bring the Stanley cup and take in a game.
This hour has 22 minutes,Trent McClellan has given lots of love to Cavalry in the past.
I guess that’s the closest a team has ever come to endorsement for known names in Canada.

I don’t know what you could do with them, just a thought.

The game is on the pitch but politics in the stands… has there been any Alberta separatist or anti separatist signs or banter in the aisles? Life in Alberta these days.
