I was able to use both my $500 Southwest CSR credits to offset one $1,000 flight

For those curious, I had two $500 Southwest credits due to CSR spend. I earned one last year that expires end of this year, and one this year that expires Dec 2027. I don’t fly Southwest often, so was interested to see if Chase would apply both credits to a flight that costs over $1,000. And yes, they do.

I purchased the flight on Chase travel and it cost $1,147.23. The same day the charge fully posted to my account, the full $1,000 of available Southwest credits were applied. So final cost of this flight was $147.23

Interesting note, my 8x UR awards only applied to the $147.23 net cash charge and not the full $1,147.23 spend. That’s kind of a bummer but well worth the trade off.

Anyways, just passing this info along since I couldn’t find anything definitive on Reddit or elsewhere about this. Yes, you can apply both Southwest $500 credits to one flight itinerary.

Final Tally during the Elite Night and Bonus Points Promotion - 21 unique brands

21 properties, 52,500 bonus points, and 21 elite night bonus credits (only 8 of them have posted). However there is one hiccup here... one of the last stays I made hasn't reflected the Paid Night/Elite Night credit. The points for the stay posted, the stay shows in my Activity, and the Bonus points posted and show as reflected in the promo, however my account overview only shows 20 paid nights even though I have 21 nights, you can see all 21 properties in the account activity, and the points for all 21 stays have posted.

Strange. I have an email in to support and they are looking into it for me... I'm sure it'll get sorted.

Now only need 3 more nights to hit Lifetime Platinum status, and have one upcoming stay already planned, so really only need 2 more nights.

I just transferred 133k UR points to Marriott to take advantage of the 65% bonus - posted instantly

I had 400k Marriott points and needed to top off for a stay next year... I've never transferred from UR to Marriott before since the transfer ratio is suboptimal and Marriott's devaluations typically don't make it worth it. However, since I already had so many Marriott points and was looking to dump them all, this offered good redemption value for me at a great resort.

Anyways, the transfer happened literally instantly. It was reflected in my account within 5 seconds of the transfer, and the 65% bonus points also posted instantly. So 219,450 Marriott points were posted to my account instantly after the transfer from Chase.

Just FYI as a data point for those looking to take advantage of this deal that expires this Friday.

Can I use both $500 Southwest credits at once for a total $1k credit for a single itinerary?

I just requalified for the $75k Sapphire Reserve benefits, and haven’t used the $500 Southwest credit from last year, which is valid until December 2026. Can I use both $500 credits this year on one flight trip booked through Chase Travel? So if I book a $1,200 flight for the family through Chase travel will it automatically apply both credits on that trip, taking $1,000 off at one time?

Thank you!
