NEW EPISODE: When Trump got pressed to declare a "national security emergency" to force through the SAVE America Act, it was just the latest example of his most extreme allies telling him made-up ways to illegally seize control of the 2026 midterms.
In 2025, Donald Trump tried to take over voting via Executive Order. We sued and won.
Then his DOJ sued 30 states to get their full voter files. We intervened and won. DOJ is 0-21.
Now, DOJ is asking the SCOTUS to permit Trump to leverage the US Postal Service to attack voting.
There is a desire to think poll workers are the solution to Trump's attacks on elections. There are two problems with that. First, it's a lot of pressure to put on those local workers. Second, some of those election officials are GOP election deniers.
It's up to all of us to do our part.
