Motion sickness from osu mania

I started playing osu mania a few days ago and I have a total of 3 hours of gameplay. I'm improving and all is good but i have one very specific problem. I get pretty motion sick after a few minutes/maps and have to take a break. Is it normal for a new player and will I get used to it or should i quit the game for my own health?

I also play osu std with no problems whatsoever.

I have problems with motion sickness, for example i can't read/watch something while in a car or play vr cuz i get motion sick very fast.

I have scroll speed at 16 if it's important.

The Nitro V15 is not as bad as everyone says

Everyone is saying that the Nitro V15 is a bad laptop to buy but i didn't encounter any problems with it since the time I bought it USED - almost two years ago now, the laptop was made in 2023 so it's basically a launch model and it was used by the original owner for a year

My configuration is 13420H with RTX 2050. Yes the configuration is at the lower end of things but that might be the reason why I don't have any problems with my laptop.

I did only basic maintenance - every 6 months I dusted it out and I changed thermal paste with PTM7950 in March 2026.

Even before the repaste, I got only 70 degrees on the GPU and around 80 degrees on the CPU. Ambient temperature is 24-26 degrees celsius. No cooling pad, no stand just flat on table, balanced mode in NitroSense. After repasting with PTM7950 I get maximum of 63 degrees on GPU and 71 on CPU.

I also use the laptop often on my bed like the uncaring person I am. No problems with that either.

The problems might arise when you get the i7 or i9 configuration with like a RTX 5060. The chassis is too thin and the cooling too weak for the laptop to be cooled properly, but these configurations are expensive enough that you can buy something like a Legion or smth.

If you care for your laptop it won't break. I don't care for my laptop and it's with me for almost two years with no issues, so I don't see a reason why it should break for you.

Laptop still hot after cleaning

Recently my Nitro V15 was kinda hot to the touch and fans were screaming like a jet engine and my games crashed sometimes or showed artifacts. It turns out my GPU was running at 82 degrees and CPU at 95 and throttling.

I opened up my laptop and it was full of dust as expected. Fan blades were literally just a solid block of dust although the radiators weren't as much dusty.

So I clean it out reassemble and I still get like 77 degrees on my GPU and 92 on my cpu and it's throttling.

So what can be the cause of this? I only removed the fans, I didn't remove the heatsink. Thermal paste is fine I repasted half a year ago with a genuine ptm7950. Both fans spin perfectly fine. Half a year ago when I applied ptm7950 i didn't get more than 66 degrees on the gpu and 75 on CPU.

TLDR: after cleaning out my very dusty laptop it only dropped a few degrees. Im using ptm7950. Half a year ago when i applied the ptm7950 and the laptop was clean i was getting good temps

I suck at CS2 and I don't know how to get better

Ever since CS2 came out I feel like I got progressively worse and worse at the game. I have around 1100 hours on the game.

First thing was that CS2 finally forced me to upgrade my decade old pc setup cuz I had like 20 fps. Now I play at 200 fps with a 200hz monitor but I can't play as good as I used to in CS:GO

I'm at 2k rating in premier since season 1, never got more than 2k. I can get like 17 kills per game but I think i should be doing much more especially at such low rank.

It feels like I'm playing against cheaters or smurfs cuz almost every game there's that one enemy that carries the whole game and they have either 200 hours on the game or over 3000 hours. They just know where I am even if i don't make any sounds. I peek and they instantly headshots me. It's driving me crazy.

My aim isn't that bad imo and I know smoke lineups, off angles and stuff like that. It's just that the enemy is cracked at the game every premier.

Can you give me some tips on how to get better and climb ranks?

I have about 400 hours on osu. I spent my first 200 hours playing on a membrane keyboard, then I bought a keyboard with blue switches, and now I use a keyboard with red switches.

I've been using the red switch keyboard for a few months now and have around 70 hours of playtime on it and honestly, I feel like they are kind of overrated. I think it mostly comes down to personal preference.

Maybe it’s because I'm used to blue switches and membrane keyboards, but I struggle to find the actuation point on red switches, if that makes sense. As a result my speed is much slower, i'm less accurate and I often fingerlock on 200 bpm streams.

The only thing that feels considerably easier for me are burst heavy maps and I also have much more stamina.

Am I the only one who struggles with red switches, or are they just not for everyone?
