I applied late and now i need advice on my visa

Hi long story short, i got admitted to msc business analytics in durham but the whole uk immigration thing is making me rethink so I applied to france. Now since most deadlines were gone i have an offer from audencia. I heard visa processing takes a long time. Is it still worth trying in this short window of time?

Help needed!!

I'm looking for some advice about a pigeon I rescued 17 days ago.

When I first brought her in, she was very weak, had severe difficulty swallowing, excessive saliva and a yellow plaque obstructing sides of her throat. She was breathing heavily, struggling to eat as well.

Over time, she improved noticeably. Her breathing became easier, she became more active, started bathing, ate and drank on her own, and began producing formed droppings. She also became much more alert overall.

She is currently on approximately day 17 of metronidazole. There is still a yellow lesion present on the right side of her throat, although her tongue has regained some mobility compared to when I first rescued her.

Over the last few days, however, I've become a little concerned. She has become easier to catch, seems somewhat slower, occasionally fluffs up, and her wings have started hanging lower again. Her droppings are less frequent than before and are usually dark green with white urates.

Despite this, she remains alert, stands normally, eats and drinks voluntarily, and her breathing is still much better than it was during the early stages of her illness.

Another thing I've noticed is that she keeps picking at the feathers on her neck. Today i could see her skin, she has plucked them all and i also saw some yellowness on the skin at some places

I'm honestly a bit worried and wondering whether I should be doing something more at this stage. I've attached photos from this morning and this evening for reference.

I have a baby House Sparrow fledgling on my balcony possibly got out of the nest early. The parents were present and actively feeding it. The bird is hopping around and can move away when I approach. It cannot fully fly yet but is alert and responsive. It is staying near the edge of the balcony by the door area. It is currently night time and raining heavily with a storm and will continue for few hours according to forcasting. The balcony is covered but wind-driven rain sometimes reaches the floor. The floor and a jute bag (it was sleeping on the bag) it is near are getting wet but not fully flooded. There is no completely dry area available on the balcony. I am concerned about whether cold, rain, and wet surfaces could harm it overnight. I need advice on whether to intervene, move it, or leave it The nest is on the ceiling above the balcony.
