Any trick for the drive-in

Went to the drive-in movies the other night and had the worst experience with the armada. The accessory power kept turning off every 10 minutes and for some reason our the sound coming out of our radio was about two seconds behind everyone else’s. Does anyone have any tips or tricks they use when going to the drive-in?
